lets really evolve.

There is no point in adapting...we have been terrible...there is nothing good about adapting from our previous circumstance.

Time to bring out the dead.

Not something borrowed something blue! 8)

Murphy and a wind of change.

We will sell more memberships with an inspired leadership.

Voss and Murphy should sit on histories page together. All class...great leaders...multiple premierships and historic importance.
Yep, let's chuck a kid to the woves and make him captain. FFS, he's 18. Let him develop his game first and win respect of his peers as a leader (he already has ait as a player). That's earned over a few years, not 13 games. Burden hom too early and you risk his development as a player.

Lance is the best on-field leader we have at the club by a long watch. Just have to see his "smarts" on the field, and the way he "marshalls" the players around him. Murphy will be ready to go as captain in about 2010, when he's been around more than 5 min.

Kernahan ruled out Murphy as captain when interviewed on 3AW a few days ago.

Fev. Does more on the field to lead than any other player out there. I couldn't give a rat's tossbag about him putting an irish barman in a headlock.

Won't happen though. My boy Nicky will probably get it by default.

Pretty sure I've said that before.

id love to have fev as captain also. id be rapt if he got the gig. but as were all resigned to, he probably wont.

having said that id love it if stevens were to be given a shot.

I'd far rather Stevens than Whitnall. Wouldn't mind a rotating captaincy. Interesting comment from one of the AIS players training at an AFL club. Hard not to think it was a reference to either Whitnall or Stevens.

"That said, different players made differing impressions. Those who didn't acknowledge the boys did not go unnoticed; when it's mentioned that one player did nothing but "walk around like he was God", the group recalls some recent interviews, in which that player had detailed his leadership potential."

Im happy to eat humble pie here, i must admit through the NAB cup and the game Vs Richmond, Nick Stevens has been superb ( other than him allowing Tambling to mark in front of him right in front of goal last week, that was weak ). But honestly other than that he has been superb, cant fault him, yes he is playing like a man that should be our captain.

BUT its only round 1 guys, id be over the moon if he keeps this up.

id be over the moon too if he keeps it up all year. :-D
