Hack. Can believe he still gets a game when we've got players like Clarke running around in the Magoos.

yeah bring back Jacob Anstey i say!

seriously i love lappo. he's brilliant to watch and does so much more than his body should allow.

some of those pack marks are just crazy.

i remember in his 50 goal year, he just truned it on all most evryweek. pulling in hangers all the time and some bullshit goals. like the one off the ground in the wet against the dons.

or his 5 goals against the tigers in a night match at the G. kicked em from everywhere.

Should have been a AA FP and HBF, not many players could claim that.

Shame we didnt get to see him in the IR series last year. maybe this year lappo!

Well done Skinny, you are a champ. Your comments after re-signing will stay will me forever 'I love the club and all my mates are there' if only there were more players like you. You are a star.

We need more Lappins!

Was one of the only blokes that could hold his head up high after the '99 GF. Will never forget the huge pack mark he took in the third quarter of that game.

Also, who could ever forget his mark of the year he took against Essendon* in his first game for us?

I think likewise frank.

Congrats and thankyou to skinny for a great 200 game career so far.

Hmmm....who's been the better no.12. Lappin or Barry Armstrong?

Yeah, Lappin is one of my favourites... no doubt about it.

Plays gutsy football and has taken some huge marks. He has also played a key role in finishing off the Bombers in a few matches over the years.

Great player. Well done Skinny.

When Carlton won the Wizzer I was most happy for him. At least he now is a member of a premiership team - even if it is just a wizzer (at this stage.)

Congrats Skinny!
You were one of they very few who managed to show some class in our darkest days and stuck by your club and mates despite offers from others clubs.
You give inspiration to all us small people!!!
Well Done Lappo, 200 games is a great achievement

Favourite memory of Lappin's was his first game at Carlton when he took that huge mark against Essendon* right in the pocket.
Bruce almost did his load when it happened.

His 5 goal haul against Essendon* in 2001, the second time we played them, was something special as well.

Lappin's a little gem, one of if not my favourite player at the club. I know he was All-Australian last season but I still reckon he's long been underrated outside the club.

Congrats Matty.

absolute star...often forgotten when we talk about stars, pay and leaders!

Never forget the family day (end2002) when the Age broke the story that he knocked back Richmond, the crowd when nuts when he came up on stage!
