Do they mean "appear" in the commercial or actually "star"?

I'm all for fronting if I'm the star. But appear? Nah, leave that for the extras.

You know who I'd like to see in the front row of the crowd scene decked out in Carlton footy jumpers & beanies etc going crazy waving flags/floggers cheering on the young lads as one ...and it would be fantastic PR ....J.Elliott W.Lofts G.Smorgon M.Rose I.Collins L.Diggins S.Kernahan R.Pratt J.Nicholls F.Brown.

I'd love to see that & I challenge those above to do it!!!

Think what fun this would be for a family...mum, dad, and the kids.

I would have loved to this when I was younger.

Hey Budzy that would actually be a very good idea.

Not having them sit together but perhaps showing quick grabs of them with the cheering crowd would be an excellent PR move by the club and show the unity that has sooo been lacking of late.

It would be an absolute hoot.

I'd get the star of the show in G. Williams to also show up.

The ad is starting a comedian not sure what his name is he is dressed up in the Captain Carlton gear I must say he is a fatter version of Captain Carlton he struggled to fit into the suit.

He has a few lines to the camera which we didn't hear I believe the real Captain Carlton does some back flips then they have the comedian doing the talking.

After all the back flip he comes to the crowd which was us and we had to cheer jump up and down and wave flags. Then we had a seen where Captain Carlton comes to the boundary line and gives the crowds high fives.

This commercial was filmed in the Telstra Dome. It will be only 20 seconds of film i guess and it took three hours.

Not a huge turnout but I guess with the late finish on a weeknight it was always going to be that way. It did take ages - I had to leave at about 10. Was a bit of fun though.

Around 200 - 300 people they had to move us around to make it look like more people. A few people left during the night becuase it finished late my self included I left at 10pm. It didn't help with them starting almost an hour late.
