is there any way of knowing if we, carlton that is, were the first team to perform a three peat of championships, in any sport, world wide? i know its a long shot...but could it be true?

does anybody know this....i cant be bothered looking it up, and i wouldnt know where to start.

I think you will find that the Fremantle Football Club in their first incarnation around the 1880/90 mark won about 10 Premierships in a row.
