I also say good on him, much better then the flower Collingwood supporters ringing 3aW last night wanting to dance on our 'grave'. I also used to have a heap of sympathy for Fitzroy fans but the few bitter ones that rang last night really pissed me off.

When Richmond had their Save Our Skins campaign in the early 90s I actually shook a can for them on Punt Road. Also went to the charity legends game they had against us.

Interesting that we aren't at that stage yet.

Well Joffa has gone up in my estimations certainly.

But certainly more intelligent than the Collingwood Wankers who rang Sports Today last night on 3AW and wishing that Carlton went under.

Shouldn't have even allowed to be put to air - but even Joffa can see that Collingwood would rather the opportunity of playing 4 x 80,000 Blockbusters per season rather than just 2.

So would the bike clip wearing buffoons at AFL House as well.

I wouldn't mind betting Eddie is behind this little push in publicity.

I still think Joffa's a wanker, but slightly less a wanker than I did.

I've seen JNC stuff and always assumed it to be cheap Korean or Chinese gear, I had no idea it was Danish, a good move to help their brand recognition.

I put money into Richmond and St Kilda when they were in trouble, and I'd do the same for Essendon* or Collingwood or any other of the melbourne-based AFL clubs which found themselves in trouble.

Doesn't mean I also can't hate them. But it's recognition that they're a vital part of what makes following Carlton special: without enemies, we're nothing.

Same goes for them.

That's our great strength. We're not a single entity... we're part of a bigger picture. If Collingwood or Essendon* or Richmond died, a part of Carlton would die - and the inverse is just as true.

Agree with what you are saying John, except for when it comes to North. Call me heartless but they just don't have the support to justify being an AFL Club. They will never be able to stand up on their own again and are just a financial drain on the AFL.

One of my best mates follows them and I would feel bad for him though.

Joffa hasn't impressed the guys over at saintsational with his lastest actions.

Today Collingwood cheer squad icon Joffa did the unthinkable - wearing the Blues colours outside the Flinders St railway station to show he was serious about helping the club.

The club's most one-eyed supporter is best known for donning his glittering golden jacket when the Pies look set for victory on the field, but says he will "do anything" to ensure his favourite rivals keep taking to the field.

Jeff "Joffa" Corfe has offered to sell raffle tickets, help with any fundraising for the club, and even wave the flag to ensure the club survived.
Has Joffa gone too far?

.....now i really hate the guy................but the poor pathetic bluescum supporters love him....ffs...............not even his mother has been guilty of that...............

Walk past this cabbage getting his photo taken outside Flinders St in his stupid Gold jacket with a Carlton jumper on at lunch time today.

What a poor excuse of a human. ALso has gotten very fat with a big beer gut sticking out under the jumper.

What a tosser

I'd feel the same (and did in the late 90's) if Collingwood were in dire straights.

As a club we are defined by those whom we have the biggest rivalries. For us that'd be Collingwood, Essendon* and Richmond. I was shattered when Fitzroy died.

There hasn't been a tin rattle I haven't donated to yet.

Good work Joffa - you're still a toothless Collingwood prick though :-D

Most of the guys at Saintsational are uneducated feral vindictive tossers. The fighting amongst themselves is staggering, let alone the vitriol they throw at the opposition. Massive Inferiority complexes all round.

This is a sign of how desperate and pathetic we'v become to have this tosser out there feeling sympathetic to us.

I understand what he's saying, and I would probably feel the same, but that doesn't mean I want his help.

This is almost too much to bear. Can we send this story to Pratt with a note saying...

'Please spare us from the humiliation of having opposition supporters feeling this way about us...where's the hatred???'

Now we've hit rock bottom....this is as low as it gets

There was a good interview with Joffa in The Age a couple of years ago; and he sounded like he was a good bloke who loves his football.

As I remember it.....he's a family man who is always ready to help out in his community.....I think out Moreland way.

I agree, hard to take but they need us as much as we need them.

As for the pitiful saints, they're as weak as piss and twice as salty. At least win one flag in the modern era before slagging of the most successful- the nerve :? .

Suck shite re Reiwaldt, too - seems like just another pissweak year for the under achievers   .

Ps: Pagan looks like he has lost a fair bit of weight, things must be so unbearable for him.

Well, I agree JM - but I'm still gobsmacked.

I can't help thinking about how I would feel if Malcolm Fraser was photographed wearing a Collingwood jumper...
