Yeah, surface didnt look friendly at all! My knee hasn't been 100% since I injured it badly playing basketball, dont know how I would have coped.

But it looked too much fun out there for me not to play next time. Interesting putting faces to names and you all seem like a great group of guys. Definitely had more spirit than the Saints - though the scoreline may have had something to do with that. Buried them early!

if so, organise it a month out so i can get leave from work...any less and i would have to work on the day...which isnt a bad thing cause i usually finish at 12, unless something like this sundays happens where my shift was changed...

Are we contacting Demonland ?

And in general is everyone keen for a February game?

Sunday 11th / 18th / or 25th are the options I woudl think, with the 18th being a good starting point.

Do you think we should nominate our availability now, maybe everyone could start, I will start a seperate thread (hope you don't mind PJ) to get the ball rolling?

I'm up for the 25th or the 18th......

I jumped on the scales and i am 5kg over my playing weight.

I want to strip those 5 kg's off for the next game and get some run back into my legs.

And next game i ain't getting tanked the night before, and will make sure i eat properly this time leading up to the game.
My last decent meal was i think Thursday dinner (Friday cheap Pizza, and Saturdy no dinner due to party) before the Sunday game
No wonder my legs were like jelly and i had no energy!

I don't want to put in two insipid performances in a row, and be SS tackle bag again!

Awesome news guys 104 points is a great result. And from the reports kudos to SS and Barks for their showing on the day (played in the right spirit yadda yadda yadda) It's as if you didn't even miss the guy who usually stands at FB and occasionally falls over.

Drubbing has a nice ring to it...

congratulations to the better team on the day

I also don't approve of posts being removed on SS where you guys had a bit of a stir and if anyone got banned for it, then that is just wrong imho

Obviously the highlight of the day happened early on when with a piece of individually inspired brilliance /lucky bounce,I completely out pointed Pheonix Johnson and kicked a goal from the boundary line about 25 metres out to put us in front which only lasted for about 20 seconds

you guys have recruited quite well, even a few collingwood supporters to help you out and I won't make mention of the one extra player you had all day :-D

you've finally got a good team together and the game against demonland should be a good one

your skills on the day were first class while ours were abysmal

anyway enjoy your win

and your wooden spoon for the third year running :P
