Stephen O'rielly?

in all seriouness i loved matty clape, pearce was more than handy for a few seasons.

The bolt was very servicable as was ricey and big harry.

shame we haven't really had too many decent retreads since lappo.

Teaguey for a season i guess was good.

actually justin murphy had his moments.

hopefully cloke can turn the tide

Clape: Eagles

Manton: Bumbers
Pearce: Bears/Saints

Spalding: Demons
Williams: Blues/Cats/Swans

I think that is all correct, but my offsider reckons that The Duke also played for the Eagles...not sure now. :?

Spalding played for Melbourne, then Carlton. Never played for the Eagles. Your mate might have him confused with Darren Bennett, who played for the Eagles then the Demons.

Jeff Hogg played for Richmond, then Fitzroy. Was part of one of the most one-sided trades in memory - Matty Dundas, Matthew Armstrong and Michael Gale for Jeff Hogg

A Fitzroy supporting mate of mine was absolutely filthy at the time - and rightly so.

I've always thought Clape's performance in the 95 GF was unheralded. He didn't kick any goals but he took a heap of contested marks (7 from memory) - which for a small foward is/was a pretty good return.

Brad Pearce was a matchwinner in '95; but my favourite under the criteria is Adrian Hickmott....definitely.

Diesel and Madden, under thre criteria.
But, Val Perovic would otherwise be up there.

There are so many.

My favoourites are
Hickmott
Lappin
Spalding
Rice
Madden
Pearce

Our bandage bill went up by 100% after Adrian Hickmott came
to Carlton :-D
