Does anyone reckon the kouta DWTS stuff may have had an influence?

Being finally able to pay by monthly direct debit has to help

Just wondering is it possible to do this over the net??

Zippy, I DO know that you can pay in full, or in installments - via though Shell Touch machines *the same ones you can pay your e-tag on* that are located in all Shell service stations... walked past one about a month ago and saw the CFC emblem flash up on the screen... swanky!

The key is to get exisiting members to resign. Than we would have 32000 easily. Someone told me that 20% dont resign every year and this has been going on for ever

Thanks for that.

How would it work though? Would I have to go to one of those touch screens every month? :? What if I only pay the first time ($9 for silver concession) and Carlton send me a membership and I never pay again (I would never do that though)? :?

the trick is surviving the wait until your membership arrives in the mail..............they say its coming .............. well so was xmas and that has gone..............and so was new years and that has gone.................and every day the postman comes..............and then he is gone

So does anyone know or can get access to the number of new members who have signed up so far for this year?

Latest figure 12,922 from website. Not much action over the Christmas period it seems. Thought this would be a period we would see a large increase in membership sales.

+2 just in time for voting rights at the upcoming AGM.

(To be eligible to vote for the AGM you need to be paid up and have your voting rights confirmed by 16 January ... SOON!)

I really wanted to buy my membership by the 16th cause i desperatly want to vote but funds are just to low at the moment. Really struggling so it's just not possible.

That being said, for those who are a member and want to get their message accross (whatever message that may be!) PLEASE don't miss your opportunity................VOTE!

i had a look at the membership packages last night.

im really struggling to find a reason to become a Social Club member this year.

i go with my father, and we sit either Lvl 3 at TD (far better view of the game) or in the Olympic Stand at MCG (far better view of the game) so we get no benefit what ever with regards the seating arrangements, and to be honest, i reckon the seats the SC members get are shit house anyways.

but having a look at the memberships its

$254 ($16 per game) for a 17 Game Silver Membership ($133 concession)

or

$462 ($29 per game) for a 16 Game Social Club Membership ($217 concession)

the only benefit of social club membership is that its a chance for me to catch up with a few people, but at almost double the price im not sure if its worth it as i can meet people in other parts of the stadium if they are so inclined to do so.

the only Social or Gold area of seating i would be interested in is the Social Gold Premium or Gold Premium and even then i could end up with shit seats.

I dont use the SC facilities at MCG as they are shit and have been shit for sometime.

Victory room is okay, but is nothing special, give it enough time and you end up at Livewire or the Cougar Bar anwyays.

Its a sad state of affairs our Social Club is in, when the TD Social Club (which is crap to be honest) is miles better than what we have at the MCG

just frustrated with the lack of value in our memberships. There doesnt appear to be a mid ranged membership packages. Its either Silver or $400+.

For what you get out of it, i dont Social club represents any value, at least with Gold you get a reserved seat.

Perhaps next year they could do it so that

Silver ranges from $150 - $250
Social Club ranged from $250 - $350 (not $380 to $460)
Gold ranges from $320 - $420

leave the rest at around the range they are. Really struggling to find any worth in becoming a Social Club member this year.

p.s. it was with a smile i noticed the loyalty pin that shows the years of being a member :)

Nope if you do it now you make 9 payments. If the form is received before Feb 6 the first payment will be Feb 20. Each payment is on the 20th of each month up until October. :)
