Sal, its obvious that Pagan deep down is getting to the point where he will pull the pin.
You cant have such a fractured board coach relationship.
Pagan is a cagey old fox, but i doubt he has been responsible for all the leaks to the media.
8) Pagan is just stirring the pot to get himself off te hook after giving some assurances to that dud Zantuck. After half of the Essendon* hierarchy rang Sticks and some other Carlton people to warn them about Zantuck, the match Committee told Pagan no go!
What Happens next, Zantuck spits the dummy and whinges about his hard luck to that rag "The Age", (please tell someone who cares) and next thing Pagan is on SEN covering his a*se. Then what happens, Pagan after probably getting a nice old rocket from the Board and Match Committee then gets back onto SEN to try and explain that they weren't all that serious about Zantuck and had ditched him long before the PSD and really meant to draft Cloke all the time.
All this means that The Board and /or the Match Committee is finally starting to run the Club and Pagan is learning the hard truth about Carlton. That the Club directs the Coach not the Coach directing the Club.
We are on the way back and it is up to Pagan whether he toes the line and comes along for the ride or gets off at the next bus stop. :-D
