Its always a tough one trying to compare different eras - sometimes the legend of the man is overstated - without footage of the christ it is hard to say if he was as good as his legend.
I remember reading that He was a fantastic wet-weather player - it was as if he was gliding accross a sodden track- when all other players had the long stops ge wore the flat soled sandals and didn't get them wet.

Nowadays with improved drainage I doubt that Wiggins will get to play in those sorts of conditions.

The moderators should start a new usergroup called TCWLA - Talking Carlton Wiggins Lovers Association

Well they have both been crucified in the past.

well to start with how many of these guys can you have on the one list?

wiggo was aleady on this list and being a young player, has more chance of improving.

hulme had injury issues, and franger couldn't get

a kick at senior level in his last year. plus was becoming less effective.

i thought the answer was pretty obvious really.

Mcormack was replaced with johno in effect

Jesus never went hard at the man like Wiggo.....

Wiggins could become our "Enforcer"...we need one...he's potentially it!

Jesus was pretty good in the wet but under the roof of Telstra Dome I'd be backing Wiggo as the better player.
