Ok, so seems Simpson's status is confirmed by Molesy, so asterisk removed. That leaves Houlihan to be confirmed, Bannister and Bentick still unsure/unknown. And whether 2006 ND pick 1 gets 2 years or 4 :-D

Bannister - don't have a specific link, but in his 1st year (2004) he finished Top 10 in our B&F. Afterwards, I thought he signed a 2 year contract. Therefore, I thought he was a 2006 expiry.

Can anyone find other confirmation to support?

Mallee has Carazzo down as 2007, yet he and Bentick were added to the primary list at the same time, and presumably both 2 years. DId Carazzo get an extension at any time? If not, then maybe he too is out of contract now?

Means Bannister initially came to Carlton on a one year deal. That would take both through to 2006, although Molsey is certain that Simpson's was extended last year till 2007.

Yep, I'd be getting a move on on some of them...these are the ones I'd definitely be wanting to tie up midway through next year, so they don't fall out of contrct...

I thought Murph signed a 3 year deal? Or was that what Brisbane offered him? Or can you not do that with draftees?

Brisbane were rumoured to have offered him 5 years, but that was just a rumour. I certainly didn't hear of anything to suggest that we offered him more than 2.

As far as I know, draftees must be given at least 2 years (not sure about recycled player back into the ND).

Sorry guys. I haven't looked at this thread for a while. Here is the announcement on Carrazzo. He was signed up the same time as Deluca and Scotland. Just check out his profile on carltonfc.com.au and you will see it. Oh and Carrazzo has double "r" apparently.

What has Raso shown so far? There is no need to go overboard. I would just sign him up to one year. Bentick and Houlihan deserve two year extensions and I would give Bannister and Bryan one year each.

Yep, I'd be happy with that. Three years requires Board approval though...I'm sure they'd give it.
