Quite correct Brizzy.

Smorgon also announced new deals for Eddie Betts and Brad Fisher, while they remain confident of retaining uncontracted defender Bret Thornton, who is being sought by Hawthorn.

Why so he can captain the club for another Wooden spoon,Scotland,Stevens,Fevola or even Walker would be the man to do it,not someone we have to see if his fit or not.

I dont think so - I think somehow he had 1 year added on to his 2 year contract; late last year.

The info came from Carlton Communications so hopefully its right.

Not sure if this has been posted elsewhere...apologies if it has...but who ISN'T contracted next year?

Given that we will have picks 1, 17, 19, 35, 51 and Pre-sesson 1, that's at least 6 delistings that need to take place.

Bananarby has gone, leaves at least 5 others. Does anyone know who is out of contract? I know Livington is...who are the others?

Yep, I think both signed 2 year deals when they came via trades.

So that's 4, plus maybe Prenda. Anyone know of anyone else who is DEFINITELY out of contract?
