There is an arguement that Thornton might not be the right player to trade but you never get anywhere if you don't take risks.

I really doubt Rich would give us pick 8 for him.

But 3/4 of the side do not play on the main forwards.. only Thornton does...

just as he did before Pagan came to the club

Yes Synbad and just like when a bloke who learnt to kick the ball 3 years ago had to cover for him and take one of the best forwards in the game in round 22 because he was getting towelled up

If that was the criteria for being traded, Lance would be at his 6th club.

T Bird can run too.. and Lance cant....

So sydney blue... if Setanta covers for T Bird on occasion and T Bird covers for Lance on more than one ocassion... who does Lance cover for is the question you should be asking yourself... :-D

Yes but when Lance was 22 he had already kicked 70 odd goals one year and 55 in another and both T'Bird and Sentanta are taller and should be more capable of taking the leading defender but on most occassions that was given to Lance . See we keep saying T'Bird is not the right size to cover leading forwards and is playing out of his depth . But you expect Lance to do it and he is shorter. Who one the B&f by the way

the guy is not that good and shouldn't be making stupid demands on the club . We have had enough of this in the past

And how old was Jezza when he kicked the century???

Geez it was a different game back then wasnt it???

T Bird >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>infinity>> Lance.

Oh Paf....words of wisdom ....except.....we ARE assuming the Club will do the right/best deal to warrant losing X players; just as we're assuming they'll pick the best/right players iin the Draft.

Why do I still feel uneasy?

Seems like young JR is drawing some interest from over in SA if you can believe this article.

Why can't Port Adelaide offer us their first round pick in a direct swap for "Two Grabs" Deluca? You know that you want to do this Chocco. He's a much better player all round is our Adrian.

I would not lose any sleep over Fisher. Yes he is an execptional grab for his size, but he has a weak frame, kicks poorly and has trouble playing 18-20 games per. If he plays hardball id flick him for a late 2nd rounder. Not woth a cent more than 200k per for 2

Great stuff! I can stand having to be patient while we draft some talent and develop them, but I don't think I could take it if one of our players walked off to the Bombers for nothing in the PSD!
