NATIONAL Australia Bank chief executive Ahmed Fahour and Grocon managing director Daniel Grollo remain the men most wanted by those seeking board change at Carlton.

by your reckoning bill clinton and the sultan of brunei are alternatives - both have been invited onto the board and declined (grollo and ahmed anyway)

I'm not throwing my support behind what if or maybe - actually signed members with a set of policies...

Well.. Uncle John, Give me your alternative!!

Yes, I want blood!! Us members shouldnt have to put up with bumbling clowns like Smorgon running the club!!

You're just asking questions! I'm providing alternatives..

Whats yours??

You are providing WHAT!!!????????

This might help …

al•ter•na•tive
Pronunciation: ol-'ter-na-tiv, al-
Function: adjective
1 : offering or expressing a choice <several alternative plans>
2 : different from the usual or conventional: as a : existing or functioning outside the established cultural, social, or economic system <an alternative newspaper> <alternative lifestyles>

You’ve been bagging & shit canning ….. Nothing else!!
I ask questions because I don’t know the answers. I don’t pretend to know the answers. I don’t like the position OUR football club is in at the moment, but I don’t agree with the “hang them allâ€

I think the point is the supporters of the club should make as much noiuse as possible and hopefully a ticket will form because they see we are crying out for it.

JE may have stayed in anoither term if the supporters of this club hadn't made such a big noise - evenb before an alternative ticket was formed.

We found our voice

time to use it again

and again

and again

until this club gets the people with vision/nous back in control!

I'd rather jump from lillypad to lillypad than drown!

Smorgon hasn't been in any position of strength in terms of finance, player list, brand health, and perhaps board capability and cohesion (I'm guessing).

The problem is that supporters don't comprehend his vision and charter, other than to keep us afloat. These are terrible times for the Blues, and most would have struggled in the same situation.

What we want is a vision, a plan coherently communicated to supporters.

I want to give anyone/everyone the opportunity to give me this, with the hope that it is achievable, and will give us accelerated improvement.

I will vote for the best ticket with the best vision/plan to move us forward faster. I know there are no guarantees, but I also believe that noone in their right mind would want to put themselves in Smorgon's position, if they thought they would fail.

We must be patient, listen and not move hastily. Change is on the horizon; no doubt about that. Change is a given, patience isn't.

Dannyboy you hit the nail on the head on this one.

Our club is a shambles at the moment not helped by incompetent twits at a time when we need real DIRECTION and VISION.

If it was up to some here who believe our board directors TRY, then we'd be bankrupt in a couple of years. Ahmed Fahour and perhaps Daniel Grollo would be terrific for our club!

I'll continue to push for change and a return of GREATNESS to the club while others can go blame the SNEAKY LEAKERS!!

FFS, Overthrow this RABBLE of a board!!....
