For the sake of this once great club, the board elections must be brought forward post haste, and the positions within the football department(including the position of the senior coach) must be settled once and for all IMMEDIATELY THEREAFTER!!!!!!!

The delay in doing so is placing at risk a number of very important issues which will come to bite us in the bottom if something is not done very quickly:

1. A player review to be conducted by, potentially, an outgoing football department, the results of which are to then be inherited by the newly elected football department(ie decisions made for the new department which are binding and unable to be reversed).

2. Recruiting Decisions - Wayne Hughes needs solid direction from the football department in order to ensure that the right decisions are made(ie, which positions are to be recruited for, the best platers for each position, etc) - and a lot of that depend on the coach's playing style(and as we all know Pagan's style is very different to others!).

3. The sooner all of the above is settled for good and all is concrtete, and we can all move forward in unison and in a positive direction TOGETHER, the more attractive our club is perceived to be by out-of-contract players that may be looking at the Pre-season draft as their salvation. Do you honestly believe that any good footballer in their right mind would want to go to a "basket-case" club such as ours at this point of time? Mmmmm.......let's think about it................a player's manager says to his client, "l suggest that you will get the contract you want at another club, and l know for a fact that as Carlton has first pick in the draft for out-of-contract players, they will definitely select you. So, just hang your current club out to dry, and if they do not come to the party, you will get the contract you are after from a once great club in deep financial strife, which has heaps of in-fighting at board level, is the worst performing club over the past few seasons, whose majority of players dislike the current coach, etc, etc, etc".

The next month is the time to get things right soooooooooooooooooooooo
- START NOW AND DON'T WASTE ANY MORE TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Guys,

First time poster to this site and decided to register as some information came through that i thought would shed some light on this whole debalcle.

It all started about 4 months back when Denis had a sneaky suspicion that something fishy going on behind his back. The only guy Denis trusts at the club had confirmed what was taking place.

Barry Mitchel, has played a major part in trying to oust Denis the term "a rat" used by the person informing me. Mitchel was playing the role of mr nice guy to the older players who struggle under Denis's authority who then voiced there concerns as part of there strategy to get rid of Denis.

Stephen Silvagni a major supporter of Denis was approached by Malouf at a function a while back. The reason why SOS had decided to join Denis as a part of his coaching staff was that Malouf had told SOS that Denis would be ousted. SOS could not believe what he heard and the two had a very public spat at this function.

The club have now tried to turn it all on SOS by saying he would only come back to the club if he was guaranteed the senior coaching position which is a loud of rubbish. SOS jumped on board because he believes in Denis and now the club will not appoint him the reason why they have the power over Denis on who joins as assistants.

Denis was out the door until Mitchel made his presentation wednesday arvo and it was clear he had nothing of Denis hence why the numbers swung back in Denis's favor. Lorraine Diggins who most crucify on this website was strongly in favour of retaining Denis and could was the one who leaked this info to teh media because she could not believe what was taking place.

Malouf, Sticks and the Bear have alot to answer for in my eyes.

Silvagni told Gary Lyon he would return upon 2 conditions.
The press had previously reported that SOS wanted Gubby Allan and confirmation of the senior job in 2 years.

If SOS was such a great supporter of Denis, why did he put conditions on his return?
Surely he would have just jumped on board unconditionally if he was so concerned about Denis.
Why dont you tell me why Denis should be retained instead of bagging Mitchell, Sticks, Malouf and Gleeson.
I'd like to hear your reasons.

The two "football" directors Gleeson and Sticks orchestrated the whole get rid of Pagan plot and yet the art dealer and co. -knew more about the best for the Football Department. I just don't understand that.
I appreciate the current board have tried their best and took over a difficult time, but it's time to do the honourable thing and stand aside for professionals to run the place.
The current rabble have shamed the club when it seemed impossible we could sink any lower.

30% right, 70% crap. I am sure the board would love any real evidence of the sneaky leaker!

If you dont like the rumour stick with the facts. People with different views will try to say that some facts arent facts yada yada .... BUT

How many Coaches in League History are retained after 2 wooden spoons?

Fact is 2 wooden spoons, in succession. Fact is declining number of wins from an already wooden spoon performance.

Opinion is that the above facts are tantamount to complete failure and the Board should have acted.

I am pretty sure that is the first time i have used the word tantamount in a sentence before.

You can fill an entire trolley at Meat World! There's plenty to chew and choose from and it's cheap. It is, it is, it is cheap and plentiful. The mince will ooze through your boot on a hot, hot day. Buy some for your pets. Cook some for your fat self. Use it as cladding. Hump it. Make a beanie.

Most importantly, tell your friends about Meat World(!).
