Fraser playing a straight bat to a lot of questions, but did indicate that he may be involved with a new ticket.

We haven't heard the last of this.

Brown has said that he and a group of people behind the scenes are considering running a ticket to challenge the current Board in December.

too late by then.... well into pre-season training, and the draft/trade week etc are over.

By then Pagan will have had another off-season to @#$%&! things up.... we'll probably end up with Hansen and Gardiner rather than Gibbs and empty space

GO NOW DOG!!!

Yep now would be good. I want blood but if I have to wait until December so be it.

Good to hear he's still shaking.

So is Kernahan. Doesn't mean that they will be effective for the club.

Just food for thought.

It doesnt mean an indecisive and incompetent board is good for the club either...

I had my doubts but the events of the last week has clinched it for me! The board doesnt have a clue!!

I'd rather Brown put his 2 bobs worth in!..

Don't get me wrong Blue, I'm all for getting rid of this Board. Have been for ages, and more so since Smorgon took over. In fact, had been worried ever since he was voted as vice president that he'd one day take over. His reputation in the business community precedes him...let's just leave it at that.

All I'm saying is that if there is to be a coup, then we need to make sure that whoever takes over are the right people, so that we never have to go through this again. Ever!! And just because someone is Calrton through and through, doesn't mean they are the right people for the job.

I am not saying that Brown isn't the right man, he may very well be (although this whole Carlton 90's past players collection does have a distinct John Elliott feel/odour about it, and that does concern me). Let's just make sure that we get this one right, to get the best CREDENTIALLED people in. If that is Brown, great. If not, then find whoever it is.

We'll never know beforehand if the people we elect are the right people.

All we can do is pick the best of what's on offer.

Not a hard choice at the moment.

Not for me anyway.

Is it just me or am i seeing posters, championing one case one day and another the next. The mood has swung from "Denis has been hard done by and should be kept" to lets bring in Brown!!! The first thing that Dog will do is fire Denis - and he'll do it on his first day - and bring in Mitchell. Hard to read some posters.

I think the point is Speedy Most want the board gone, if that means Denis goes so be it.

A couple of thoughts.

Firstly - we need a leader - desperately. Not a leader by title , but a leader by nature. Not a leader who wins by dividing, but a leader by uniting. Graham Smorgon is not that leader, and should go. He is up for election this yeasr, and I urge you to vote him out.

Secondly, Frazer Brown is not the ledaer we need, as he is a leader who will most certainly divide. He is a leader in the Elliot mould. He would heva been a great President 20 years ago, but would be a disaster today. We love his passion for teh club, and desperately need a leader with the same passion, but we need someone who is not tied to faction, not part of the failed Carlton One ticket, but some one who is both will bring the entire club together, passionately.

The board contains a number of idiots, and a number of no idea people. This is what happens when a ticket is created for political reasons and remains whne they have passed their reason for belonging. The reminants of teh Carlton 1 ticket need to be expunged from the club. They did a great job in ousting Elliot, but are clearly yesterdays people.

The recent additiona to the board, especially the elected one, are worthwhile and need to to stay.

The good thing is that we should have 5 directors up for election this year. it gives the opportunity for credentialed people to put up their hand. I would prefer NOT to see a ticket, but a collection of people who will put the club ahead of themselves or their ticket mates - as the Carlton 1 people do, and the players and their mates do.
