Oh hell I'll even take an Englishman
if he too is prepared
to stand in the light
and state what needs to be done
I am so sick
of the rats racing down hallways
pointing to famous pictures
to claim faded limelight

Give me mad Dogs or Poms
(and this from an irishman)
above this rabble of sea scouts
with fingers in holes
and voices wailing for help
in a storm of their own creation.

Mad Dogs are mad
but at least their teeth are sharp
and when they bite
they @#$%&! well hold on!

I am oh so tired of the sunglasses men
the lattes and shitty white wines mob
with suits so dark they are empty
with hearts so small they beat once
every forty years or so
with guts so weak
they still dream of their mummy's aprons!

Give me Mad Dogs
and old sons
over these tuneless bums!
