Ok, so we have established our club is a rabble. I cannot stand by and watch this happen. Unfortunately I am not wealthy enough and do not have the clout to do anything. but who does?

When is the next board meeting/elections? dont they happen at the end of the year?

We need someone with balls ...mind you considering the board we have now they dont have to be big ones, that will want to put up a ticket to do this. This would preferably need to be done before trade week. because who the hell would want to come to carlton seeing all this crap occuring, why would you go to a sinking ship?

We have a real opportunity here supporters, a real opportunity with all thise top draft picks and talented kids.... lets not waste it. we need the right people coach and the right people running the club. the people we have now are not the right ones.

What president goes and begs the afl for money..... my god that is embarrassing. now you will say if he didnt we would be in more trouble. what this wanker of a prez has done is put a cheap band aid on a big problem.

Every carlton person i know, member and non-member are appauled at the state of the club.

see the United Talking Carlton statement thread for something you can do: send the statement to as many carlton supporters and members as you know. tell as many people who are eligible to vote as possible of the shambles that our current board is, because if a good alternative ticket presents themselves, we need as many people as possible to know the TRUTH of the current situation.

We're NOT powerless. We may not have the money, but we CAN influence people to vote for a better set of directors should they materialise.

I have faith this will happen - surely the evidence is so clear as to the current situation that it'll flush out good and talented carlton people to drag our great but severely tarnished club out of the shitter.
