I would think that given restrictions like you have stipulated that the Coach's position would be untenable. Maybe they're trying to get Pagan to resign. Could our committee be that clever?

So our basic problem is that we have to beat the flood when opposition teams try it against us. Maybe the coach has noticed it as well.

How do we beat the flood?

With our elite kicking skills?
Our sure handling and precision passing?
Our blistering run through the middle?
Our breathtaking vision and decision making?

We need Howitzers. We've got popguns.

Sarcasm? What sarcasm?

Yet every player has been bought to the club by Pagan or re-signed by him.
As a matter of fact, we're going so well he chose not to use any picks later than pick 36 last year.

List management hey?

Not by Pagan... under Pagan.

Tell me what you would have done in 03, 04 and 05 in terms of trading, delisting and recruitment.

Off you go.

By the way, including the pick we traded for Saddington (52, which became 51 - so one club didn't even have fourth round pick to use), there were 16 players taken after and on our next pick.

AND

Sydney 3
Melbourne 3
Bulldogs 2
Saints 2
Port 2

As you can see 12 of those 16 picks were between 5 clubs.

and the guy who won the rising star today was one of those that came after Saddington...

My thoughts are well known on this point so save it for someone else Jimbob.
I'm like most people on this site, not remotely bothered engaging you in anything serious.

Go away and bait those who have'nt wised up to you yet.

Mate you are clearly demonstrating that you haven't.

You're giving me nothing, so I'm left to assume that the puffing out of your chest means something.

Do I have to research what I'm saying and what you've been saying?

Why don't you "wise up" and put down a link or series of links that show this, or I might have to sit here thinking you're just flinging mud for the sake of a bit of action, like a few others on this site seem to be doing, or are being led into doing.

Synners, Pearce was the last pick of the first round of the 2004 rookie draft.

Wanna hear what his fault was? He needed contacts.

Yet given unrestricted access to the draft there would be at least six players on our list that would no longer be there.

Blokes like Livingston, Sporn, Davies, Predergast and probably Wiggins are only on our list because of our draft penalties. Re-signed maybe but only because we had no other option.

Ask yourself how many of our current list would be in the first 18 at any other club. I'm suggesting Murphy and Fevola. You might think there are budding superstars on our list if they were coached by Mitchell but I'm not convinced.

Bring on the 2006 draft. I want stars not satellites.
