He made a good point if it was decided that DP would remain then it would have been announced around 7.00pm - 9.00pm

But the fact its in its 6th hour means it maybe going against Dennis

barry mitchell said that he's willing to do the job for the next 2 years for the same pay that he is receiving right now as bullants coach and assistant coach.

I reckon it would have been their best rating show of the year.

Thought Coutts was good right at the end with what he said. Basically could not say much, but played the 'I can see both sides of the story' argument wrt what the board had done and what the media were expecting.

In any case I think the media this morning has actually been quite subdued about the issue. Maybe more will be made of it tomorrow, but the majority of teeth gnashing seems to be happening on TC and little elsewhere.

A sure sign that we know better than anyone else.

I think you'll find that most media outlets would have had their pages ready based on a bye bye Denis and when that didn't happen we got the snippet that the Herald Sun ran and the total non article in The Aged.

I agree Jarusa, i thought Coutts did a good job. They shouldn't rush the decision and as he explained the review is still taking place.
