How soon can we vote off those on the board?

Where did anyone suggest that Pagan would be 'sacking' Sticks and Bear?

But if they've made a recommendation as big as sacking the coach, and to have the rest of the board outvote them, maybe they might, of their own volition, choose to no longer be part of the current board?

I'm only speculating...

You wouldn't think the football department could function properly when the coach doesn't have the support of the Chairman of Selectors. It's a real f$%^ up. If they've got the financial backing they have to let him go.

I'm with you 100%. We can't come this far then not sack him.

Looks like the light at the end of the tunnel was attached to an oncoming train.

Actually is Sticks still the Chairman of selectors or is he just the Vice President? Eitherway the coach needs to have either the full or close to full backing of the board and a 4 hour meeting on his future suggests he doesn't.

While the meeting goes on with the board,
And all that we say is ignored,
I'd like to advise
That we'll all be surprised
When we hear that Wayne Brittain's restored!

Same I cannot sleep either. Are they aware what us members are being put through ? I am so totally disheartened at the moment, and I am full on so passionate about this club. What about those not so passionate ? We are going to lose so many members I reckon next year....... I am so afraid for this club.

Okay so its done

now can we all just get on the Denis bandwagon

forget the crap about how he can't coach

or develop

or do anything

just give it a rest

and get fully behind this coach andthis board

we are going places!

not good places mind you

not anywhere most would want to go

still

we are the navy blues

I remember when that song filled my heart with pride

now,

now I think of Fitzroy
and wonder

where did all the good men go?

some directors have been spooked by the media hype

This sums up our board in a nutshell for me.

Does anyone on that board have a GRASP of reality? Just a GRASP?????
Every move they have attempted to make this year has seen them do backflips and denials due to the response it receives from the media and supporters - and they thought something like this wouldn't create a furor? Do they read the papers everyday? Do they read the internet? Do they get out of their bloody dining room at games and listen to supporters at games?

I pray to god there is a rival group being formed somewhere because much more of this pathetic board and I will lose my sanity and we will all lose a football club.
