Gardiner has a year to run on his contract, we can't get him in the PSD.

Think this is his last year http://www.news.com.au/story/0,10117,19832283-29277,00.html

Nisbett said it was unlikely that Gardiner's playing contract, which is due to expire at the end of this season, would be renewed.

Thanks for the honest toil Barnaby. You served the club well.

My Barnaby article from last year: http://carltonfc.com.au/default.asp?pg= ... eid=201302

A broken thumb, two broken legs and a prolapsed disc. It's tough work being an AFL footballer.

BArney was a great example on the field and the track. Not a super talent but a battler who worked as hard as he could for the Navy Blue. And we will see what he meant to the side next year when our rucks are getting slaughtered. We could ill afford to lose him with no replacements in sight. Pity the Carlton website haven't acknowledged his retirement

Would Barney have announced his retirement if he knew Denis was going. :?

You know, you were the first person I thought of when I had heard that Barney had retired.
