What an achievement, to win the coleman medal for a wooden spoon side.

Hopefully a few more similar seasons to come.... just stay out of trouble over the off-season Fev and you'll be right for another big year.

Fev was a great reason to go to the footy this year. Superb season and full credit to the bloke. Be very proud Brendan, but strive for more next season.

ALways strive for more.

Well done Fev.
Hopefully next season the midfield can give you the delivery you need to get you to 100 goals, you're more than capable.

the real challenge for fevola is to keep this sort of form, and continue the discipline required to be captain, for the first half of the season he couldn't be faulted, but the last three weeks (since the coleman was secured) he's taken a step back from that,

congratulations to him of course, coleman in the wooden spoon is an incredible achievement.

but you can't ever be satisfied, especially as coleman in a wooden spoon. there's still alot left to do.

Amazing effort, even more so when you consider the significant falling away of the rest of our forward line.

In 2005, the Blues kicked 293 goals, totalling 2016 points. Fev kicked 49, or 17% of our goals.

In 2006, the Blues fell away and kicked only 251 goals, totalling 1747 points. Fev kicked 84 goals.... a whopping 33% of all of our goals.

And you wonder why opposition Coaches put 3 on him! 1 ourt of every 3 goals game from the superboot.

Lappin went from 25 to 5 goals, Whitnall 24 to 15 (both as only ever played up back), Waite from 36 to 18 (injury) and Fish fell from 13 to 7. Betts improved from 19 to 20 despite more time in the middle (Big tick!) and Kouta kicked 12.

Congratulations Fev, you're a star! And not only a pat on the back for being the Coleman medallist this year but also for sticking with it week in, week out in a side would drive any FF to a nervous breakdown!!! The delivery and the silly flood tactics that leaves you fighting 3 defenders most weeks is enough the drive the good Lord to frustration. But you stuck fat and have been rewarded. Well done! :P

I think Fev will continue to deliver in 2007 and beyond. He has a great influence in his corner and that is his wife. She appears to be a fantastic influence on Brendan and handles herself well. I think she will continue to give Fev good support. I think she has made a massive difference

FEVOLA was an absolute STAR this year......he kicked arse.....WELL DONE FEV!!!!!!!

But to the "I told you so people" knocking those people who wanted to trade him last year - I think they should remember what he was like last year compared to this year (even taking into account injury)....the bad body language, paying out on John Nichols at the B&F...

I was one that wouldn't have minded if they had traded him - if we would have received excellent compensation for him - say 2 Top 15 draft picks ....BUT I AM ABSOLUTELY ECSTATIC that he proved me and the others wrong....our opinions were based on previous years performances.....

Now - I would even be happy to see him captain

ALL THIS BECAUSE OF A CHANGE IN HIS ATTITUDE.

Even if he only kicks 50 goals next year....I'll still be happy with him as long as he maintains 'this years attitude'.

Once again - Well done to Fev - and hopefully the 'borderline' players can see what can happen if you do the right things and work hard.
