Season Finished thank god .....

Result was expected so will mean that all departments will be under scrutiny and especially the coaching review. I am sure also players will be also looked at closely so a result like today will make sure the coaching and players arnt suger coated as would have been if we had won or got close.

Setanta was great today. Easily his best game, took on and beat barry Hall in many contests. Provided run and his disposal, while not pretty, was effective.

The season is over.

Setanta O'Hailpin was terrific!.. I think i could tell 3 or 4 weeks ago that he had something.. But he's just continuing to grow and he's gonna be a real good player for us.. Playing on such a good forward like Hall, he was fantastic!..

Aside from that was good to see Blackers play some good footy in the last quarter, Scotland was very good and Kouta played pretty well!..

I like the look of Bower as a player and Jackson shows something..

And we get the No.1 pick..

From a game perspective that was all.. Sydney are clearly a class above us...

The biggest positive was certaintly Setanta!!.. He was propably our best player!.. Then you'd have Scotand and Koutoufidies who battled hard..

I'm real stoked that this Irish experiment just may pay off!.. :)

none...just kidding

French Retires...just kidding

actually up until today i thought Setanta would not make it, but that was one of the better defensive marking games i've seen...he will make it and was our best...Jackson showed a fair bit and he actually has a bit of pace which is good.

Setanta didn't get confused when he did that run then the other players took the ball back to where he started

Good to see Bower, Setanta and Jackson all knew which direction we were going and the first instinct is to go forward

Setanta was terrific and has finished the year off very strongly.

Heath Scotland very good again and in my opinion has been our most consistent player this season.

Anthony Koutoufides. A few weeks ago I was leaning towards wanting the bloke to retire, but he was good again today and in general his last 6-7 weeks have been very good. Without him today we would have lost by 20 goals or more. I think he has shown that he deserves to go around again.

1) Setanta O'hAilpin: who needs Hansen?
2) Ryan Jackson: looks like we'll see him a bit next season
3) Hello Bryce Gibbs, or hello pathetic list management
4) Goodbye Denis Pagan, or hello managerial incompetence

The 2 S's for me,

Setanta - Pagan gave him a task to see how he would go on Barry Hall and did a fantastic job. Last week he conceded no goals and today, maybe 2, not to bad when both teams kicked approx 50 goals.

And the other S, its nearly Snapper time..

I don't have to see that bogan and squib Houlihan pushing his hair behind his ears for another six months.

It would be better if it was another 50 years.
