Well, provided we lose this week and I thinks thats a pretty safe bet, we can all welcome Bryce Gibbs to our great club.

Anyone been watching his stats in the SANFL this year...he is dominating at 17...unbelievable.

The thought of a midfield of Murphy and Gibbs and I'm salivating.

I check them each week in the paper over here, and they are always pretty healthy. Avg high teens in possessions, with plenty of time in the middle. A couple of outstanding games that we all know about.

With the footy smarts of Murph and Gibbs, with the attacking nature and pace of Simpson and Walker, there is some hope! :P

i seriously reckon that if we get Gibbs (and a decent coach), we'll be in the box seat to win a flag in the not-so-distant future.

If we get Gibbs we're already in a better list position than the Bulldogs, and Hawthorn as well (as the 2 teams with uber young lists).

AND, in 5 years, we'll have the best list in the league.

But we need that other GUN midfielder (as well as developing depth in there from our existing list and other picks) to start really turning the tide in our favour.

I think if we can get Gibbs, a raw(er) tall like Ben Reid or Allen or get lucky with a Riewoldt slipping through, or something, and another quick or skillfull mid like O'Brien or Jetta or Connor etc etc

ITS PREMIERSHIPS PEOPLE

With Murphy and Gibbs...... (AND others, of course)....we're MOTORING
