Lets make 2:30. It's what time footy is played. After the game we can go to the pub and have a counter meal or something. Also gives a chance for the guy on RWO who is working to join the game at qtr time.

Just let everybody know to be there by 1:30 - 2. People we always be late, gives them a buffer.

As far as qtr times go, I think we should cut it down to 15mins with 2-3mins time on.

yep sounds good. 18 minute per 1/4. 15 min for half time break, 5 for the others.

2.30 start would mean the game ends about 4.10 so thats not to long but still good for a social game.

dont want to make it to long.

so whose gunna bring a footy a long?

also anyone got an air horn or something for a siren?

I was thinking of getting a new footy, good reason to go get 1.

Will just need somebody to bring a pump as I dont think I can bring a pumped up footy/ pump on a plane.

I've got a Sherrin, but if Fullmont wants the excuse to buy one, go for it!

I'll bring mine just in case, and I'll bring the pump too.

KK thansk again for all the leg work you've done over at RWO to get this happening.

that smaller oval sounds ideal for a 15 or so a side social kick around.

so can anyone in our team actually play a bit? i know clint is pretty handy from the last forum match i played.

i'm useful for about four 5 second bursts game.

does anyone one else actually play or atleast used to?

Italian_Styles can kick a ball 50mtrs and wont miss a target or a shot at goal.

Had a kick with lucablue, he has nice right foot, and is strong mark aswell.

Gez, your a decent player, was watching the Collingwood forum game and did a few nice things. Mrs Fullmont had a good laugh at your headgear.

that was my first run for about 6 years! my endurance is shocking, so i bludged on the running when on the wing in that game. it was bloddy fun to out there though.

this time i'm not coming off till i've kicked a goal

dunno if i'll wear the head gear or not, might check out the size of the other lads. i dont need another concussion.
i'll look pretty funny as i'll be wear tights under my shorts and maybe a head gear. should stand out a bit atleast.

i have the ronnie deliluo problem of running flat out while trying to kick the ball. i have no poise and dont usually slow up when i kick. something i need to work on i guess.

since last year thought i've been playing indoor soccer regularly and have been working out a bit over the last month, so hopefully i'll be able to run the game out a bit better....fingers crossed.
all a bit of light hearted fun.
looking forward to meeting everyone to most.

You beauty. Had the footy out last night for the first time in 6 years. Will bring it along, its not too bad. I used to play in country vic, mixture of seniors and reserves. Don't know how tall anyone else is, but I nearly hit 6' 4' and used to play in the ruck. Poorly.

As far as nightspots around Crown Street. Better for pubs and bars than clubs. Gaelic Club good for live music. Bar Cleveland, Whitehorse, Clocks, Dolphin, Hopetoun all pretty reasonable.

Very keen for this game.

Doing the team thing means buying the beers KK

I am very average fitness - as wide as I am tall and haven't played footy in over 16 years and not only that I dropped a brick on my foot last night and it is killing me.

But geez I am looking forward to this game

Lets strap the cam to Gezman's headgear and get some first person action.

I can bring a number of footballs along (all in good nick) just so we can keep the pace of the game up after a score is kicked.

Don't bring too many, we might all need the breathers after goals or behinds...
