YES and at least 3 were near the boundary because he was forced to lead wide by the fb to get his kicks.Agree there may not be a match up for him this week but maybe he will play on grant or rawlings if he plays in the forward line. Moreover his real role is to play predominantly on the power forwards and therefore to release thorton to chb.Didnt also see neitz outmark him in a pack situation

Obviously tarrant mauled him in the last game of the year last year so yes he has his limitations but I thought thorton didnt do much better on tarrant that night either.

Most importantly Livo didnt yet thrown around by Neitz. He stood his ground shoulder to shoulder with the TaxiMan on about halfa dozen occasions and the Headlice couldnt budge Livo. The Headlice kicked 9 on livo in 2002 at TD by pushing him around, that will not happen anymore. We have a Gorilla-Killer and his name is Livo.

Where did I say I hate Livo ?

Livo's performance was OK, this is a stock standard objective observation.
After four years and a full pre season, he still runs under the ball. Yes it may be he still lacks confidence, thank god Neitz missed all those set shots from 40 meters out on a 45 degree angle.

Whilst the signs are there that the class of 2000 are blossoming (about time), the jury is still out until at least half way through the year. Only then will we be able to judge these guys.

However, you couldn't have asked for a better start to the year so far!!!

Exactly, I hardly think that Wiggins and Livingston has made it at this point. Sporn probably has though.

Nope. But if I invented a cool nickname like Abaddon I wouldn't be changing it anytime soon. I'm originally from TBV though.

Wiggins will do me just fine.
Sporn will get better and better.
Livo is going to grow in confidence. I saw him take a clean mark and kick a perfect drop punt on the weekend - it's been a while since I have seen a Livo kick that didn't wobble all over the place.

The one that continually worries me is Justin Davies. He is a classy player but for his size and experioence he should get much more of the ball than he actually does.

You've got me there, you didn't. But you read like someone who didn't want to measure him objectively. Your's isnt stock standard by any meaure. Any objective review of the game of a FB would see FF kicking 0.3 from 4 shots, which regardless of all other points, provides the fact that Neitz had no impact on the game. FB wins.

If Neitz had have kicked 2.2 I'd still say the same thing.

ps Neitz's first shot was at least 60degrees, surely?

Lenny/Karl....Bit hard on Wiggo...Didak was more physically developed and had played some senior footy in SA. Wiggins back then didnt have the body strength to compete with Didak and it was a poor matchup...Didak is no mug and will kick goals given opportunties and Wiggin's should have got a player like Rhys Shaw or Ben Johnson who didnt have the body size advantage like Didak did...

I think his decision making and disposal has improved due to his extra confidence.....lets hope Denis does the right thing by him and sticks him on a suitable opponent this time...A player like Giansiracusa would be a good challenge for Wiggo unlike sticking him on someone like Mitch Hahn who will do a Didak and out muscle him....
