On the contrary, I'd prefer that Headland and Carr were playing. As you have rightly pointed out Freo's midfield have exposed ours (midfield )more than most in recent years, but this was with Pagan's, 'no change, no rotation, no accountability, no speed' midfield. With Campo gone, Stevens and Kouta spending more time out of the square and Houlihan in a defensive role, our midfield looks considerably different of late. (Not that we wont anyway, but) I was hoping to see how the 'kids' cope with a midfield that has owned us in the past.

As long as they win the hard footy, I won't be too fussed... unless McAnus starts to rack them up!

Setanta on Pavlich would be worth a look.

I was thinking the same thing. Forward Pocket for Stevo this week. Want Crowley as far from their goal as possible. Should keep his goal tally to two or less playing from a back pocket on Stevo.
