Bummers would have to be a chance to knock off the Lions at TD this week

Not going to happen.

Lions will thump Essendon*, who will be thinking they'll be in with a chance, and thus undo any chance they have.

Not so sure KK. Lions due for a downer. Hird, Fletcher & McPhee all probable inclusions.

It is good to see Headland and Carr out, problem is that, it is Freo's outside runners that will tear us a new one in Crowley, Peake, McManus, Schammer, Dodd, Webster, and Black. If we don't stop the run of these guys, we will be ten goals down in no time similar to Round 2.

On the contrary, I'd prefer that Headland and Carr were playing. As you have rightly pointed out Freo's midfield have exposed ours (midfield 8) )more than most in recent years, but this was with Pagan's, 'no change, no rotation, no accountability, no speed' midfield. With Campo gone, Stevens and Kouta spending more time out of the square and Houlihan in a defensive role, our midfield looks considerably different of late. (Not that we wont anyway, but) I was hoping to see how the 'kids' cope with a midfield that has owned us in the past.

As long as they win the hard footy, I won't be too fussed... unless McAnus starts to rack them up!

Setanta on Pavlich would be worth a look.

If Fremantle play Ryan Crowley as a defensive HFF to tag Nick Stevens he could end up kicking 12 being that close to goal.

I was thinking the same thing. Forward Pocket for Stevo this week. Want Crowley as far from their goal as possible. Should keep his goal tally to two or less playing from a back pocket on Stevo. :P

Whitnall is in doubt so we might not see the dream match up of Lance on Pavlich.

Hey! That's Lance's business, not yours!

DP gave the old line last night about a few rookies knocking on the door but no-one actually getting a sledge hammer and smashing down the door. :(

3 ins-lappin de luca and wiggins on an extended bench dont know who's gonna miss out but there's news that big red has a bit of a cold but looks likely to play at this stage.

Chris Connelly said that Freo would be more physical after the loss of Carr/Head. Pretty much like our round 2 game.
Guess they are going to try and hit us high and low and give us the old heav ho...
