i thought kade's was better only because of the angle and the work he did to get where he was but i still dont think it'll be goal of the year, i've got a feeling aaron davey will win on pure flukeyness.

Didn't Davies kick one like that against the filth or scum a year or two ago from the same pocket?

i'm not sure but i remember brad johnson kickin one out of the air right on the boundary from a very tight angle and i think he might have won it that year might have been last year but dont take my word for it i dont really follow these awards unless carlton players are in them.

Didn't Franchina snag a freak goal against Richmond on his left from the same pocket?

I think Fraser Brown and Ratten have also snapped freak goals at that end of the G, but I can't remember who we played that day.

Yep your right Juzz

Fraser's was amazing - one mm to the left and it would have hit the post - one mm to the right and it would have hit the post

I thought Eddie's cool-headed kick for goal about 2 minutes from full time was goal of the day :-D

Slimo's was way better.

Kouta's was a floater that was lucky to go through.

My sole vote went to Kouta.

When you click on the above link you will need to substitute carltonfc with afl in the URL.

Well, now you can follow the link in tb24's post above to help get Kouta over the line.

10 years ago either of those goals would've been GOTY now they seem to happen every other week. Davey will win the award this year - if not for a goal he has already kicked, it'll be for one that is still to come.

I reckon Kade's was pretty good for this week but I'll be happy to give Kouta my vote.

It's the Captain's job to lift when the going gets tough

And remember, Kouta wasn't playing when Kade did his Daicos

kouta's looking pretty good, he's got 67% of the public vote and 47% of the expert vote.
