Just on the footy show that Fev broke his finger at training - can play on for the rest of the season with injections or miss the rest of the season

Two things to worry about for Fev now. The birth of his first child and his broken middle finger. Not good.

Like last year? You'd think he'd have learnt from that & not play if unfit.

yeah but its different because this is a finger, he can tape it up and still play but last years was his groin which is harder to play with

Someone would've went to the Carlton training session this week surely. If it was true the story would've already done the rounds.

True.

Seriously, what would you have to be doing to break a finger at footy training...............

Contested marking, picking the footy up on the half volley, that sort of thing...

Most likely a contested grab gone wrong....

We will find out tomorow the extent of the damage you would think.

If that was the case, players would be breaking their fingers every day... Its not something that happens every day..

It's accidental Bosman.... I doubt it would be anything more than that bud..

Let's just hope that it didn't happen with the ball hitting the tip of the finger head on, as that can be a very bad (messy) break...

The club, via Ian Coutts, is denying that he has broken his finger.

If it comes out that it is true, you would have to question how the footy show knew about it and if it eventuates that Fev told them as part of his contract with them, is he any different to Aker?

I would imagine the MC would not be happy with him sharing something that important with Channel 9.

But at the same time, you would think all the other media attending training yesterday would have noticed if he had broken his finger. Hard to miss I would imagine.

I wouldn't take too much notice of what he says...he gives you nothing that bloke and he's the communication manager of the club. says it all really!!

Not a big deal if true...guys play with broken fingers and dislocations all the time...strap it up, an injection and he'll be right to go
