flower hell, you blokes should be as pleased as anything after tonight.

Despite being spanked in the first quarter, you still showed fight to cut it back to what it was. Port are a quality side, and in Adelaide it is a big acheivment.

Unfortunately, that super flood early was a very ugly sight, but it got a lot better as the match went on.

If only my mob could have showed the same grit and determination as you blokes did tonight.

Houla - great game. Best game from Karl for since last year. Johnson - killed port with clearances. Carrazo - nice game(and no turnovers). Walker at least looked like he wanted the ball. Lance did pretty well at CHB. Fev, kicked well tonight. Barney, I;m sorry I ever knocked you. Great team effort. Just shame we couldn't hold when we were a point or so up.

@#$%&! your mob...this is about us!!! Seriously I don't know how your team played today, but I doubt they didn't give 100%. Its been a trait since Wallace was coach, got more out of them than anyone could have expected and I don't think the attitiude has changed.

For mine, watching the comments as the match went on, the positive had to be that they NEVER gave up!

Love that!

Been missing it since the WC.

Hey, can I do a surrey impersonation,

There were no positives from this game and no matter what anybody says they cannot shake my fundamental belief, and no one can tell me what to do because I am my own man. I call it as I see it and there were absolutely, positively, no absolute positives.

YOOHOOOO SYYNBBAADDD!!!

I thought Wiggo was great tonight. He kicked 2 great goals and was hard at it all night.

Houla was brilliant, really stood up in the absence of Campo and Scotland. How good was that play when he sharked the ball from the pack on Port's 50 and then put it on Fev's chest, who wheeled around and kicked it from about 70 metres out. If he hadn't hit the post, it would have been the play of the season!!!

Great effort all round, it was a shame we didn't quite get over the line, but at least it's better than losing.

Barney got Primus reported!!!

Although not an individual positive. Betts had no touches and yet we managed to find other goal scorers besides his previous weeks input.
Was just nowhere near the pill tonight was Eddie. Spent a lot of time on the pine remarkebly!

Lots of GUTS!!!

Impressive debuts by T-lo and Callum.

Great team effort! Lots of positives...

Go Blues

The biggest positive for me is the leadership shown by Barnaby French and his determination to get the absolute best out of himself.
To take on their bigmen almost by himself and stand tall is inspiring.
Well done Barney.

Wiggins a good player, reminds me off a bit like Franchina and Hulme but i get the feeling we will use him in a trade at the end of season because he has some talent, hope not thou.

Agree with Ponk's thread about Barnaby (appears Brogan was reported for striking him)

Our makeshift defence (they kept the premiers in Adelaide to 4.13 after half time)

Knowing that Mark Williams is pissed off and probably more so than last week (sleep well Mark)

On the not so positive side ....... What a pity Waite can't kick the ball 85 metres !!!

I thought it was a great effort by the whole team...very very hard to beat Port over there so a draw with all the things we had against us this week was fantastic....particualy happy with these stats....)from the AFLs live stats)

contested pos.

Nick Stevens 11
Ryan Houlahan 10
Brett Johnson 10
Kouta 9
Glen Bowyer 8

top five on the ground....and shows the boys were realy putting their bodies into the contests...and winning them.....gotta be very happy with that.

I thought Lance did well in the body-on-body duels with Tredrea, once he was shifted down back.

Nice to see Fev win a bit of the ball again.

It was also great hearing the crowd boo Teague at times because they couldn't tell the difference between Stevens and Teague.

I thought moving Lance down back actually improved the forward structure a bit.

It gave Fev a bit more room to move, plus sucked them all into focusing on him, meaning TLO/others snuck under their guard a bit.

Also Justin Davies - not much game time but did some very important stuff like chase & tackle when other guys began to run out of steam.

That's why no 2 haircuts are the same at Port. Their supporters wouldn't be able to recognise one player from the other.
