Considering the replay is on now, I can't be arsed watching because my arse is talking.

And it says, "we didn't lose the game because of the umpires".

Who knows? My arse may be wrong. It has never been before though. :-D

Any chance of answering the question?

No...you need to watch the game again.

Obviously.

Plus every other game Carlton has played, since 196?...when did television start?

You'll have a field day.

So you don't have an answer then.

You can't name one incident where we received a lucky free kick in Friday night the 28.04.06 game against Richmond.

The intentional out of bounds = 1

I don't see how that was lucky. There was one almost identical paid against Murph less than five minutes before it.

Next.

A really weak holding the ball in Richmond forward 50 = 2

You mean when their players dived on the ball and we locked it in?

I don't see how luck played a part, but at least you've finally attempted to answer a question.

Your arguement falls down when it becomes purely subjective...which is what footy is all about.

There is no case to answer.

Who said there was a case to answer?

I only asked you to answer a question, and after repeated badgering you finally managed to do it.

But if you're happy with the treatment we're getting from the officials then it must be wonderful to live in such a bland inane world of poor results satisfying mediocre expectations.

At the risk of misinterpreting Deano's post, I don't think that the umpiring had any real influence on the result tonight although I did think that Richmond seemed to get the better end of the stick. The free against Whitnall to Richardson was a joke and there were some others which I can't remember off the top of my head. However if we blame the umpiring for tonight's loss we are clutching at straws and being delusional in terms of pinpointing why we lost the match.

I was pissed off with a heap of umpiring decisions...as I was last game, and all games last year, and the year before that and...and..and...ad infinitum (from 1974...or about 1980 to be precise).

And here's exactly why you frustrate the bejesus outta me.

You understand the feeling of being pissed off, but feel the need to attempt to circumvent any venting I might use this forum for.

Sheesh.

and Blues2005, you've summed me up a treat. The umpiring was deplorable, but not the reason we lost.

Don't mention the war, I think I got away with it once, but I can't be certain.

Germans? IN THE HOTEL?!

SHHHHH... they might hear you!

By the way, I'm of the belief that this is a staged argument to push Deano's charge for 10,000 posts.

Well played Deano... this time.
