Mols,

I've knocked up basic season pages for 1922 and 1959, and added people to the other 1950's pages you asked me to do.

Can you please add the leading goal kickers for those years, as I don't have access to the stats.

Ta.

M,

I've done 1960-1967 and 1969-1971.

Mols,

Ignore my last past. I found each club's leading goal kickers on the AFL site and have added for my years.

Have also added basic season summaries for '51 & '52.

I've found more info on Jack Worrall and updated the relevant pages. For those of you not familiar with the story:

1902: appointed
1904: sacked
1905: reinstated due to player support
1906-1908: coaches us to 3 flags
1909: resigns due to players seeking to have him sacked due to him training them too hard

I didn't know much about these early days of the club, but there are certainly a few parallels with 1980. For those interested, check out the 1900's, 1904, 1905, 1909 and Jack Worrall pages on the Blueseum.

Great stuff steve - very interesting. It cleared up my captain / coach info too who said Worrall was coach in 1909, but other data gave the incoming Coach.

7 years to go people - and 2 of them have commitments.

Project Century is almost completed.

Does anyone have the details of the losing 1986 Grand Final team somewhere?

I couldn't be more proud to announce the successful completion of Project Century (or Project Easy Up Bam) in the Blueseum. This means that EVERY SINGLE GAME ever played by the Blues in the VFL and AFL at least has scores and dates included. EVERY SINGLE ONE!!!!

Congratulations must go to Jarusa, steve, Stretford Blue, Mrs.O and thehalford for a huge effort over the weekend to knock off the remaining 40 years or so and complete the work also undertaken by TBB, BlueWorld, Dukes and others.

great effort all round.

This is just the beginning - now we need to writers to come in and tell us about the games:

* game memories
* who played well?
* who played?

steve, Jarusa, wolfy and I are running a side project to get ladders into all years, but now that the base is complete, we would ask that you all go and have a look around and tell us about games you viewed in the Navy Blue.

I would have thought a writer as good as Molsey would have written one before he got around to Troy Longmuir. :shock:

Juzz

The Great Man is going to get a write-up courtesy of another Great Man shortly..... keep an eye out for it.

:-D

Good stuff BlueWorld. Round 1 was done so I assumed the whole thing had been done.

All in good time - we wanted it up by the end of this week to help us make a few points to the Club.

Seeing that molsey and steve have been inputing milestone data for various games I thought I should collate all the milestone data so that data entry for milestone games is easier.

I have created 1 file already, all milestones from 1990-2005.

It can be downloaded from here:

http://www.blueseum.org/tiki-list_file_ ... alleryId=1

Perhaps this could be similar to project easy up bam where we all take different years and go through it that way.

What do you guys think? :-D

I'll include them into the years I've done. I think I already mentioned a few that I knew about but there may be a few there I didn't know about.

Thanks BW, had only noticed a couple of molsey's and steves so apologies for no mention, after I saw a couple I thought I might collate them all.

Feel free to download that file , there may be a few such as first games and last games that need to be included.

Which years will you do?
