Although I agree with the general consensus about Russell ie he is a flower, he did have a good word to say about the Blues on last night's "Sports Tonight"

After Ian Coutts had rang up to clarify some points that callers had raised on various Carlton matters, Russell said that the club was always on the front foot, or words to that effect, when it came to dealing with the media, in contrast to another club (presumably mentioned earlier in the broadcast) who was not

Sports Tonight is still a good show but he is a @#$%&!.wit of the highest order. His opinions are juvenile or retarded but because of his deep voice he thinks it makes him intelligent.

The problem is really that he reaches 1/2 millionj people a night and 2 million on Friday night
