I'm just going to keep posting my fave until it becomes second nature, and everyone here loves it.

What would Lance look like wearing Orange?

Ratten can see the light but Eddie is still living in the past.

Anger as AFL says jump to it

Quote:
Former Blues captain Brett Ratten said the sanctity of the original guernsey mattered less than on-field results.

"It needs to have the CFC stand out to keep the history. But it is the time for changing and the game is changing, and you have to evolve with it," Ratten said.

the Paper version of the Age today has pictures of two of TC's jumper designs. can't find the picture on the web, but the article is:

Alternative strips have the web jumping as fans clash over tradition

And on the back of the Sports Section is a little comment called 'Psychedelic Blues' which is all about Zippy's psychotic effort from a while ago.. including his immortal line 'May as well look how we play...'!

Well done Zippy!

Good press -showing humour in the facr of adversity. either that or you're dumping on the Club at it's lowest ebb :-D

Haha, nice. Which versions did they run with?

Nice work on the quote too KK.

It's a shame they didn't run this as well though. ;)

Which one was yours? Couldn't be bothered checking back through the thread.

Shag, that one doesn't look too bad either. I think the navy border around the CFC emblem should stay though.

In that article Ratts was quoted in:

Quote:
But Mapgies cheer squad leader Jeff "Joffa" Corfe said he would boycott games unless the Pies kept the black and white stripes.

DO IT! DO IT! :-D

halford, this one

Don't like it as much as I used to, but the concept is probably OK, just needs a good design guy to make it look good.

Hey Jarusa, i like the one u did, but its still mainly blue, wat u recon if we invert it. Might look alright with a blue CFC even though i think we want a white CFC logo.

How good am I?!

I'll become the newspaper equivalent to PJ......

And yes, they could have at least attributed my words...

Needs some tweaking that's for sure, maybe with the logo even bigger?

Here's a quote from Simon Madden, from the HUN article:

Quote:
Legendary Bombers ruckman Simon Madden welcomed Windy Hill's new predominantly red jumper, which will be worn only occasionally.

"As long as the traditional colours are kept -- and it's very close to the traditional look -- I have no problems with it," Madden said.

Of course he doesn't mind it, he wore the red shorts.....
