Its one thing to complain about the oppositions accuracy (which has driven me crazy as well), but what about our inability to convert the easy shots???
How many easy shots have we missed in the 3 games? And at times when it would have consolidated our leads and put more pressure on the opposition???
I can remember four from yesterday without having to have watched the replay. I am sick and tired of our forwards missing set shots from 30 out. It's inexcusable.
Absolutely yes we have butchered shots from 30 metres but my point is our opponents have kicked above average with respect to accuracy, and if you look at our last weeks opponents Essendon*:
Last week they kicked 17 goals 4 behinds against us, this week they turn around and kick 10 goals 17 behinds.
If Collingwood have the same sort of turnaround next week I am going to spew.

I understand your frustration, I really do. The number of times Coll kicked goals from right on the goal line was astounding yesterday. Our defenders failed to either punch the ball through or if it went to ground they failed to hit it through. It was like they were all lost at sea. Thornton can't come back soon enough for me, he is without question one of the most important guys in our team.
Having said all that, I doubt Thornton would have been able to stop those arse soccer kicks or snaps from 50 that somehow went through. They won't kick goals like that again for the rest of the season.
