If Camporeale is rubbed out for an elbow, Blues fans would accept it as he should just go for the ball rather than his opponent. He should have learnt from his suspension in the Wok that retaliation isn't tolerated. But the match review committee should investigate how Camporeale ended up with this black eye? And why he had to leave the ground after kicking a great goal?

Campo will get 2 weeks.
He got a black eye because he is more interested in getting into skirmishes than concentrating on the ball.
Stevens is an example of what Campo isnt.

Campo = Wayne Schwass, when Pagans has had enough you know what will happen.

Regardless of what thr rules are and what the AFL deems right and wrong, I don't think anyone should be rubbed out from yesterdays game. There were a few skirmishes, but anyone involved willingly put themselves into it and it was pretty fair.

The AFL has spent the whole week building up this rivalry round and the tv stations have shown over and over again all the past fights during most of the games. How can they be promoting the rough stuff, but then turn around and suspend the players for playing that way?

I kinda hope Tina, I mean... Campo gets 2 weeks...

he needs a break, and to refocus, and we should be giving young kids a run in games we have a small chance of winning

Campo should be rubbed out.
Even if what he did isnt worthy of being rubbed out he is a lazy lazy selfish gullable 30 year old team leader.
He should be rubbed out so he is under the microscope again!
2 times so far this year he has been sucked in and looked for the easy way out allowing Stevens to try and do it all on his own.
Stevens left a potential premiership team and fell into our laps and players like campo dont give him the respect he deserves. The bloke ran his guts out on his 150th.

Campo = Down hill skiier.

 you are so predictable synbad, knocking them off one by one.

Yeh, lazy footballer make 74 tackles in a season. :garthp:

Your bias sticks out like a sore thumb.

Bet you cannot wait to get stuck into Whitnall as well.

I think some of what Syn says has some credibility, even allowing for some anti-Campo bias.

Yes, a 30 year old supposed leader of the team should LEAD. He allows himself to get involved in the petty squabbles in a game and removes his focus from where it truly should be: achieving the team goal.

Where did the focussed Campo from the WC campaign go, and how did it happen so quickly?

If he's rubbed out for a week, I don't think we'll miss him if he continues to be the way he's been playing lately.

He needs to be locked into the room of mirrors and have a bloody good hard long look at himself, and not come out 'til he realises he sets an example on the field, and that actually can influence the way the entire team lifts, or not.

PS Jarusa... youre good with stats.. how many times will Campo have been rubbed out this year from how many games?
ALSO... did you see his incident against Rawlings 2 weeks ago?Lucky not to go then too.....

Is this the kind of player that sets a positive tone for a young team??

Uherm*

Now go read some more stats. .. if thats how you look at a game.

As for the Betts and Carrazzo incidents.. i didnt make them up. Its what was said at the club.

You should start up a stats section (Campos calls to kids for cheap kicks)
Oh there is nothing un Carlton about what he is doing .. Braddles used to do it too...

Still i doubt Denis will forget about it at the end of the season.

Having Campo in the side behaving like he did yesterday, cost us 2 players: One on the field, and someone who had to do his work for him.

Having an up-and-comer take his place could be a very positive thing in the short and long-term.
