CM,

Is that in contrast to Denis Pagan???

Mate you are digging something fierce there. :P

Bookie - when did Cazz name the player? And how self-absorbed a person would they have to be to not notice one of their fellow players (or draftee if it was Flint) was having a rough time?

You've got Flint from the country, Kennedy and Bower from WA, and then 3 local boys to help them find their feet. Good mix. I'd reckon they'd be looking out for each other unless there are some large personality clashes.

Jim, it was hypothetical, i.e could have been Flint could have been Edwards, my point was one player doesn't speak for the entire opinion of the group. We disagree on the level of intergroup obeservation that exists.
Still that's only my O-P-I-N-I-O-N.

Bookie one would think that someone who is a part of the playing list (and a part of the small group of kids within that list) that spends so much time together on and off the field, would have a better grasp of the real situation than someone outside that group.

Glad we've cleared that up Bookie. Seems thoguh that when you write you speak as if it is fact.

So was it Fact about Cooney?

Judd? Or were you just tossing names to support your opinion?

Its not your opinions I have trouble with, but when opinions are couched in the language of fact then yes i will challenge them - and anytime I do the same go right ahead.

Danny if you want me to retract that any player has had problems relocating from interstate, and the examples of those I have heard of, very much indirectly, being Judd and Cooney I will gladly to avoid another boring personal debate inflicted on the other readers of this post. Without a direct quote from one of them how could I ever prove this?
In fact I could never prove any player ever had a problem relocating but most would concede this as a “factâ€

no Bookie you didn't say its hard for interstaters, you used Judd and Cooney to try and prove your assertion that somehow (given the fragility of all players and their likely loss of confidence if we aren't careful) Mitchell had overstepped some line because he in incompetent.

I'd just rather you said, 'I think Mitchell is incompetent' and forget about trying to prove your opinion with throwaway stuff that has no relevance to the assertion .

Hey 'Jars' and Agro, I was going to comment on the Bower Bird reference but, sadly, I don't know how to post photos.

Have heard that Paul Bower is incredibly home sick and the blues have allowed him to go home to WA for a week or two.

Source could be about 80% reliable.

Did he play for the bullants on the weekend?

Has he been at training this week?

Maybe the talking carlton website should be cooking him some homestyle meals and showing him the delights of melbourne.

The same source spoke to Walker who said he realises he needs to really perform this year, which is maybe obvious, but still nice to hear!

Great UserID..... :-D :-D :-D

Interesting snippet in an article in today's HS on Glenn Archer; Archer says he quit U/19s after two weeks because it was too hard and told Pagan "where to go". Pagan persuaded him to reconsider and the rest is history

Danny are you the editor of this site? So I'm clear I can't use examples unless I can provide hard evidence or reveal a source.
And I am allowed to criticise Mitchell.
Too many people think they own this website, is only my opinion and not fact.

Which is fine. But Danny, or anyone else, has the right to call you on your opinion if, in their opinion, it's utter crap.
