Collo explained earlier that from 2005 onwards, if you register you remain registered as long as you remain financial. Problem is this has not been communicated well, and in my own case I am certain I faxed my registration form into the club December 2004 when I paid my AFL membership, but for some reason I was not registered according to the computer, so there is a breakdown somewhere in the process.

I spotted him eating his dinner earlier and he was eating food out of what looked like toothpaste tubes....

I have kept my membership current every year since registering as a voting member 2 or 3 years ago, however I found out (thanks to TC) that I had to re-register. I think the problem was something to do with purchasing my membership over the phone.

Both Collo, and the staff I spoke to downstairs before entering the meeting, said that since 2005 you only have to register once and you should remain registered. On this at least the staff and Board seem to agree. However, the problem appears to be that for some unknown reason, the system is not working as they seem to think it is, and at least some people who HAVE registered last season are not being shown as registered in 2006.
