I'd have liked Clarke to get in as well but happy that Lee was voted in. Lets hope he presents a real alternative or successor to Collo.

Not surprised Clark missed out as I didn't get anything in the mail from him until well after I recieved the ballot papers. I new plenty about him and voted for him, but I found out more about him via this site. How well were most of the members informed before the voted ?

It's not as if our board is chockers with varying talents and requires streamlining.
New ideas, alternative opinions and diverse views appear unwanted.

The old Carlton exclusive attitude was never removed, it was just hidden in the corner for a while.

2 changes would of been good, but you need 2 good candidates to replace the outgoing board members. Clarke IMO failed to sell himself hence missing out this time.

I hope Lee can lobby internally for a couple of extra board members to add to the skill-set.

Given the nature and make-up of the current board (which, let's face it, was thrown together in a hurry to oppose the Elliot regime, with pretty much anyone who had a pulse and was likely to get elected) I think that would be a very wise move.

Instability we don't need. But more skills we certainly do.
