Lee got in, but Clarke missed out by the skin of his teeth. Sticks back, of course.

So Pavlou is gone but Valmorbida just hangs on.

Good news on Lee, methinks.

I'd have liked Clarke to get in as well but happy that Lee was voted in. Lets hope he presents a real alternative or successor to Collo.

Let's also hope that the incumbents take it as a sign that the members aren't happy and that better communication with members is needed.

Who is the one who said that injury management was his main focus?

Talk about having narrow priorities. Concerns me. :?

Not surprised Clark missed out as I didn't get anything in the mail from him until well after I recieved the ballot papers. I new plenty about him and voted for him, but I found out more about him via this site. How well were most of the members informed before the voted ?

Good to have Lee on board

Disappointing not to have Clarke, but hoping he can have some involvement indirectly with his expertise.

3 are out and one goes in.

It's not as if our board is chockers with varying talents and requires streamlining.
New ideas, alternative opinions and diverse views appear unwanted.

The old Carlton exclusive attitude was never removed, it was just hidden in the corner for a while.

Would have liked to at least seen 2 changes.

Hope we don't go down the old path of sticking with people just for the sake of sticking with people.

We need fresh ideas.

2 changes would of been good, but you need 2 good candidates to replace the outgoing board members. Clarke IMO failed to sell himself hence missing out this time.

I hope Lee can lobby internally for a couple of extra board members to add to the skill-set.

Given the nature and make-up of the current board (which, let's face it, was thrown together in a hurry to oppose the Elliot regime, with pretty much anyone who had a pulse and was likely to get elected) I think that would be a very wise move.

Instability we don't need. But more skills we certainly do.

Clarke misses out by 7 votes.

According to the Herald sun this morning. (Sorry can't find the link).
