Have just Updated the Lance Collins player review, thanks to some info gathered from a secret Jarusa source.

Have fired off an email to Phil Cleary to see if I can get any more info about him - hope I get a reply!

BTW, got a reply from Phil and he gove me a couple of leads as to where I might be able to get more info from.

I'm wrapt! Hopefully will get some more info on the intriguing Lance Collins soon.

Have added in Jim Bairds goals for season 1945 (Thanks Jars) and have updated Lance Collins again with a couple more little bits of info I dredged up on the net.

1995 is now all done - all game scores and goal kickers are up; plus a game summary and occasional memories. That makes 1993-1995 done plus 2003-2005, and I have decided to have a crack at 1996:

Round 5, Eagles, Princes Park, Evans rushed behind or Williams goal:

http://www.blueseum.org/tiki-index.php? ... +5%2C+1996

My memory is a little hazy - for anyone there could you please edit this Blueseum reference or add commentary in here for me to include.

If you have some time and some memories of certain games in this era please look in the BLUESEUM and add your memories. One day this will be read by all the school kiddy Carlton fans so it's important we get all the memories down in the net...

Evans soccered the ball through the Blues' goals at the Lygon St End of the ground to try to concede a behind, only for Williams to raise his hands to try to claim it as a goal, to which the Goal Umpire agreed.

Fixed up.

Will next start on the games yet to be done!

'45 is done, and I've received some more info on Lance Collins from Martin Stillman, General Manager of the VFL.

If everyone else is cool with it I'll start backtracking from 45.

I'll do '89 & I'll set up a table like I did for '88 with the stats.

I have reviewed about a quarter of the games from '88, but have incomplete records/memories. I might tackle one or two others from that year but if anyone else can remember/would like to review a game from '88 feel free to do so.

I have been using (( )) around player's names in the goals scored part at the top of each game. Is this okay or a no-no?

Going through 1947 at the moment. Lots of fun.

Do your bit for the club, guys! :-D

Just had a thought - How about we put in the progressive ladder for each Rd and year as well? Or just position on the ladder - "Carlton was 6th after Rd 1 of 1947 with 4 Pts and a percentage of 111.9"

Workable?

thanks verbs. 1989 would be great - did you want me to set up the stats page as separate for '89 (as I did with '88) or would you prefer it in one?

re: (( )) - i think this is a great idea and looks good. Only potential problem could be if it takes too much room, pushing the text to the right hand side, in which case you may need to break it up by inserting <br> but Jarusa can help you with this aspect if it's too hard.

Too hard!!?? Pfft. I know a bit about HTML so it should be fine, but you never know!

If you could set up the stats page like you did with '88, that would be great. And, later in the week, what do you, or anyone else, think about setting up a page about the sacking of Robert Walls, which happened in 1989? I have quite a lot of press clippings from when it happened.

I also had another thought: at the end of each player's bio, could we have a link to their image gallery? And vice-versa somehow?

Great ideas Noah.

I'll set up the Stat Shot plus a separate page on the saking of Walls. Use this to write a mini-article I guess -you could always submit an article from this and I'll add it to the homepage, or just have a linked page that is accessible from the 1989 page.

As to the link in the bio, again, great idea, and we can do from now on - but this sort of thing we can do easily once it's up & running. Of course, not all players have image galleries, butwe can do this now - or later - depending on the inputter. I think for now it's all about making the Blueseum workable, but you may as well start linking the bios to the galleries when you think of it.

Hrrmmph! I finished 1909 on Saturday and I'm upset you haven't noticed.

Why does Cammo get 1999? :P

Everyone should take a year because it's great to read how dominant we've been.

And you can laugh at the number of wins we've had against St Kilda! :P

1. Your upset is only half the upset that I have for not noticing the completion of yet another year - thanks Mr.Juzz. I can't wait 'til this is all done - who'd have thought, about 1000 posters here, and 9 volunteers!!! Hrrmmph!

2. Because he asked for it.

3. We should be thankful Juzz. Without them, we'd have won a lot more wooden spoons - try 1897, 1898 and 1899 for starters!

I just spent an hour typing up the sacking of Walls story, and because I'd apparently been "inactive" for that period of time I was signed out, and as a result lost it all!

Well, it's going to have to wait until Wednesday night now.

Maybe that Jarusa guy can do something about the logging out problem?

In the meantime try writing it in Word and posting afterwards.

I did it straight away while I could still remember it. If you leave it till Wednesday (unless you really can't) it'll be like starting over again.
