If they said that, they would be showing leadership.

So it won't happen

Worst leadership group we have ever had

At least he is trying

Perhaps ask how we gave such high picks for cerra or McGovern or chose Kemp as a high pick

I'd rather have Holland's than any of those three donuts

Sorry he’s not up to it

Players trying is not enough at this level

He can’t hit a target and gets rag dolled too often

Pitto is pathetic
Florent is no good should be dropped
Evans I don’t know what Voss sees in him rather young or Byrne
Williams is soft and lazy give ben campo a go
And a few others can join them we are so terrible poorly coached

Awesome, we’re not leading at half time, so we can’t lose it in the second half now.

So for all the Hewett fans, how is he going?
So far he has had 7 disposals, 1 clearance and has been run down several times.
We are being smashed in the clearances Hewett and Cripps best and only area, 10-2 in the centre and 24-11 overall.
It's safe to say that VFL form is not translated to AFL.

He is trying hard.. he did a nice turn in the middle and actually hit a target from 20m out. I was impressed.

My only recollection of him though was in the 2nd quarter. He got the ball on the 50 arc and with little pressure, he couldnt hit a leading Target 30m in front. Ball skided on the ground and lions scored from a turnover.

I hear what you are saying WOW, but half our team can't hit a target and haven't laid a tackle. Thus in that light he is doing a hell of a lot better

And some certainly arent teying

Mate you are still clueless.
Cook made a lot of good changes and was the one who identified GW as his replacement.
He only wanted to be at the club for 2 years IIRC but stayed on longer to help with the transition and identifying a suitable replacement.

Hey maybe you can find a new CEO in the WAFL and let the board know.

Harry is being flogged in the ruck, but he has to learn, I’m happy to leave him there.

Lions have about 20 players on their list who can play genuine midfield in any AFL team. They play a slew of HBs and HFs each and every week who can get to the outside at stoppages and outside of contests for clearances or, if they dont get first use, for tackles if the oppo get the ball out. They really know how to do the complete game from tough contested footy to fast, free-flowing, dynamic ball movement to genuine contested marking forwards and defenders. This is going to get really ugly. It's how Lions managed to pants a very good team in Swans in the 2024 GF and Geelong last year.

yeah i'm aware. russell was stunned when he came over and was told, "we don't do it like that around here" when russell was treating a hammy recovery. turned out we as a club much prefer 20-year old hammy protocols over modern tech bcos the physio consultant we have is a lifelong old mate of a board member.

rumour was he hadn't actually practised physiotherapy in nearly two decades - but is/ was our main consultant, but i refuse to believe that's even possible for us

I like George, just not in the middle with Cripps.
Like Cripps he's too slow and now both are not even getting their hands on the ball in the middle.
Brisbane are too quick and too skilful.

I've never seen a half time stats sheet this bad for us… I mean basically its a stat sheet with Lions in the top half and Blues in the bottom half when sorted by AF points.

I couldn't agree more.
This is something I have been saying for a while now.
We lack the right talent in the midfield to even compete with these teams.
Then when you add high calibre HF's and HB's it just gets worse.

Been following this club my entire life and this would have to be the worst list of players we have ever had.
How is Austin still in a job.
They are clueless and skills are woeful.

No coach can turn this around and I feel sorry for Voss

Brisbane have been rubbish

Voss doesn't kick at goal, butchers inside 50s, handballs to no one. It's the players, not him.
