He was 17 or 18 when we won in 95. Like me. Old enough to be a smart arse while on the ales. Lucky for me I'd moved to Sydney by then so no one cared enough to remember and make me live to regret it. :)

   second time I've been lazy with numbers, or....Dr

I'm having trouble with numbers: the digit types.

I don't feel sorry for Cranium anymore. He had his days in the sun and over the next 5 years. My boys would take that. They were born 2004 and 2008. They're having a good life, just the Carlton thing is a sore point. That came from me! "Thanks dad...not"

Lose the first half and come back with the wind in our sails.

Momentum with the Aints since Cripps didn’t put Silvagni on his arse

This was the moment where the line had to be held.

He just doesn’t fight. Ever.

He’s got to step down.

Take a couple of weeks to get himself fit to play four quarters & in that time make the announcement that he is no-longer the man to lead the club. Honour the club by committing to put the next captain over.

He’s still Patrick Cripps. But right now, we need to fight. $20-30k worth of fines in the next fortnight.

A bit of physicality wouldn't go astray if we know how to use it.

Which is a big if.

Blues are on the right, the seventeen other teams are on the left...

I have to admit; I was frustrated by him backing down.

We already were fined for Cripps actions at that moment, he was charged with applying a “chicken wing” tackle in the saints player which caused JSOS to react.

Dean was fined too, for injuring himself and falling into the back of the saints player.

I like it.

Fight.

Should happen when oppo momentum is evident.

Dont be pushed around.

RE SOS Crippa...chicken wing was untidy, and SOS showed he's a caring team mate. He fought for his mates....took a stand.

We're playing Brisbane in Brisbane.

If we make 12 Ins, 0 outs, and play with 30 on the field we'll lose by 42

Was it just me….

or did TDK celebrate pretty hard….?

In the EPL…players show some respect
when playing their old team and scoring a goal…

now…if it’s a player who’s been dumped…?

cool…i get that…but when you leave for the
filthy lucre…and you planned on that during
the season…?

nahhh…pull it back a notch please champ…

kindest regards tommi

So after I anger dumped on Saturday night, I didn't come back to the thread. The only thing worse than being talked about is not being talked about... or being talked about and not knowing it.

Come on Bondi... feel sorry for me!

To confirm, I was 18 in 1995. That was the second flag I saw. I was there in 87 as a 10 year old as well. As someone else said, I was old enough to be very mouthy and have been eating humble pie for coming up 25 years. But I had my glory years. Not as many as some on here, but I had them.

Did I expect a better showing than what we've had for 8 rounds? Yep, I sure did. Did I expect us to be top 8? Not really. I had us in the 10 - 14 range. But it's the way we've been losing that's got me riled up. The constant 2nd half capitulations are infuriating. And it's getting worse. Saturday night was a new level. There is no mettle to this playing group what do ever and by the week is being worse. There's no passion. There's no accountability to each other. There's no support for each other. This speaks volumes about the culture of the playing group and the club as a whole. Who is responsible?

The leaders no doubt. We've recruited a bunch of introverts. And without being in the inner sanctum, from afar it seems that most of the leadership group fit into this category. But this is Voss' team. The buck stops with him. Is he solely responsible? No. But i have no doubt that he can't turn it around. He was brought in to deliver sustained success. He has failed dismally, and the club is back to where it was 10 years ago. I've barely missed a game through all these rebuilds, but I need a break. So I'm giving myself some time off. I'm going to allow myself to be a fair weather supporter and until there's something to feel good about, I'm out.

Tonight I left before the 3/4 time siren. I've been going to the football since I was 6 years old. I'm now 48. And I have never left that early ever. But I'm done now. That's the last game I'll go to until Voss is gone. At some point you have to say enough is enough. And that point has been reached tonight. @#$%&! this club. @#$%&! everything about it. @#$%&! everyone in it. @#$%&! the AFL. @#$%&! football. @#$%&!

Goood. Let the hate flow through you.

Is apathy worse than hate? I just don't care. I didn't like what I was watching in the third quarter so just turned it over to watch something else. I'm only on here because of habit. And I only listen to Prendercast as a hate-listen (once again, a habit).

 Did I write this? I also bailed in the third, but I turned the TV off completely. And I only listen to Predercast, entirely as a hate-listen.

Do you mean you hate the Prendercast lads, or that they feed the hate you feel for Carlton? Or both? :D
