one thing I noticed in that last fifteen odd minutes beside their fast hands compared to us handballing to them or to no one is. that they hit the centre bounce (and other ballups/ball ins) contests hard right to the end of the game...did. we?

Have a look at our games this year Danny and see how often the opposition smother our kicks compared to us. In the Swans game there were a lot. The opposition players commit their body to make the difference. Dive to make the difference. Ours throw an arm up and turn their back. Even Hayward could have tried to throw himself across the boot both times he gave away 50's.
The 2nd game kid has done as many as anyone.
Until those things are important, the players are not fair dinkum.

Beaten 7-10 clearances after the 14 minute mark of the last quarter yesterday. Simpkin with 2 clearances and 5 score involvements in that time. LDU with 6 clearances and 7 contested possessions in the last quarter.

I wonder what the cba of our mids vs north is? And what the league average is? I feel we have the same players at too many centre bounces and they are cooked by the end of the game.

North have 2 players in the top 20 for CBAs and we have 1.
3. Xerri - 86.7%
6. LDU - 83.3%
15. Pitto - 78.9%

25. Walsh - 74.6%
29. Cripps - 73.7%

CBAs for the game:
Crippa 83%
Pitto 80%
Hewett 77%
Cerra 73.3%
Walsh 43%
Jagga 23%

They had:
LDU 80%
Wardlaw 67%
FOS 63%
Coleman-Jones 60%
Sheezel 60%
Trembath 40%

Problem is no one else, including our master coach sees the problem.

The hilarious part (for a better word), we had Cerra back so Walsh and Smith are the 2 that spend even less time in the midfield. My head hurts.

It is sickening that the problem is so obvious.
