acres shoulder is cooked. back when russell was there, word was he needed a reco, but will play on without it, and get it when he retires.

Cooper Lord unavailable this week after requiring surgery and spending four night in hospital for a staph infection in his knee.

UPDATES on four Blues leading into Round 4.

*Adam Cerra has continued to train fully and will be available for selection this week.

Harry Dean (concussion)

- Modified program
- Availability: Round 6
- Has entered the AFL’s 12-day concussion protocols following Sunday’s game, therefore will be unavailable to play the next two AFL games.

Matt Duffy (concussion)

- Modified program
- Availability: Round 6
- Has entered concussion protocols following Sunday’s VFL game.

Cooper Lord (illness)

- Recovery phase
- Availability: Round 5
- Underwent treatment in hospital for an infection. Was discharged Monday and will aim to return to play in the next week.

Geez, didn't Dow have that issue at the Aints.
I think he was out for nearly a year and had multiple surgeries IIRC.
Fingers crossed that is not Lord.

i spent 93 days in St Vincents with Golden
Staph…had a personal Infectious Disease doctor…
she came to see me every day….

the meds turned my urine a soft shade of Coke…

hope the lad gets sorted quick…good luck

Early 2000s, when they were still in portable buildings, the Doggies had an outbreak of staph.

Ice machine was the culprit. Every now & then it would short circuit, but not for so long that everything melted… then one unlucky member of the rat family living inside it got too close to the exposed wiring.
