Absolutely pathetic.

Incredible.

How do you miss that?

Walshy and Williams the only one taking them on.

Young Byron goes alright too

This is eerily similar to not only the Richmond game but Round 9 2024 when we barely hung on by a point in the wet against them.

It has an eerily familiar feel about it this one. You wouldn't want the Dees to get the first couple in the third. And now that teams have watched us bottle 2nd halves time and again, they'll always give themselves a chance to hit hard and watch us crumble.

And it usually starts with a simple set shot miss... thanks Gov

Williams was the one providing run from behind in the first, I suppose Melbourne noticed and closed him down. Pity we don’t have anyone else in the backline who could run.

I still believe that.

He’s young, but not AFL ready imo

I appreciate we rely on Lewis Young for his height but we really need to find a 200cm KPD in the MSD.

Ball keeps following Young and he tries his hardest…..to give the Dees a goal.

Nevertheless he’s playing his role.

Can’t believe Weitering allowing Mihocek a free run to mark the ball.

We need Young to replace HOK in the fwd line.

We shot our load by qtr time as we normally do.

Let’s hope the shot was only from one ball

AFL Match Centre: Carlton will be pleased with a 34 point half time lead, yet Melbourne will still feel like they are in with a shot given that they have recorded 12 of the last 13 inside 50s of the match and the fact that the Blues have been outscored by 96 points in their two second halves this year.

What will be said to get the boys revved up after half time.

I wonder what happens.

To me it looks like we stopped running and closing space.

Pressure drops off.

Fingers crossed the boys turn this around.

Got beaten in the 2nd qtr

Be nice if the script writers who design our games have finally thought up a new plotline.
