I don't get to watch much footy in Corporate Boxes. Occasionally I will sit in the guest lounge for Sydney games with players parents, but not for Carlton games.

I can't imagine Sydney being quiet and focussed on game whilst in the box. Free beers. Swans supporters. Pig in shit.

Carlton Richmond is always the season opener in my mind!

Although the AFL haven't even given us the first game at the MCG because they've got the blockbuster of StK and Collingwood in OR.

A month away from the game and I heard we have a few backman in the wars.
Carroll, Newman, Haynes Cowan Dean on sidelines.
In a panic I called every Track watcher and Carlton tragic I know.

Dean was available but club chose to rest following traumatic family news
Carroll’s hamstring awareness isn’t an issue
Haynes clean up may force him out but OK after bye.
Newman will be right to play, and he’s putting kms into his hammy.
Cowan is an interesting one. No one knows.
Florent issued training session and is fine too.

Young, the Lewis variety has been really good and intercept marking well to cover Haynes as a KPD
No decision on SSP or LTI as yet. A KPD and Elijah are in line to fill those spots
We have plenty of depth of depth for HB: Elijah Florent Saad Williams if Cowan Carroll Newman don’t make it for round 1

We are a different team in 2026. 10 new faces…and a fit Walsh to buddy up with Jagga. We lack KP depth so fingers crossed.

Everyone saying forwadline looks more dangerous without the lazy Curnow, Harry the big kahuna, and midfielders lowering their eyes.

Feeling is we will miss TDK at centre bounce but not around the ground. Swans ruck Grundy isnt a jumping type, so new ruck rule won’t be an issue for us
