- Chris Davies on Charlie Curnow

He's telling Geelong, the media and Charlie they have to do better all in one swoop.
Chris will be the recruit of the year.

Rowbottom doesnt excite me. He is an inside mid with only OK foot skills. We have three of those guys in the team now (Cerra, Cripps, Hewitt. PLus B Compo in the ressies.

Carlton small forward Corey Durdin has expressed a desire to return home to South Australia. Still a bit to play out, given he's contracted for 2026, but it's on the cards and Port Adelaide is an option. @AFLcomau

Sydney is preparing an offer for Charlie Curnow, which will involve players and picks in a bid to satisfy Carlton.

Curnow is yet to visit the club. But the Swans are all in and putting the pieces together to have a proper crack.

Ainsworth to Blues its seems. He is not amazing, but def an upgrade on every small forward we have. He is a good kick.

Doesn't need to be amazing, just play a role and hit a target.

Well, if we’re making improvements to the list with little outlay then that’s a decent outcome.

Three-way-trade going through…

Port get: Corey Durdin, future second rounder (via Carlton)
GC get: Pick 29 (via Port)
Carlton get: Ben Ainsworth, pick 67 (via Port)

As Crusader has flagged, J McInerney should be the player Carlton requests in any deal instead of Rowbottom.
