A hefty no thank you, Mr Mackie. Mkay.

We would be better off to trade Charlie to Tasmania in 2027 for picks - 5, 7 and 11.

Oh I like that, can we do a future player trade?

I’d rather trade him and our first to Collingwood for Mason Cox than do this deal.

I doubt it, but it would be good if we could.
Just give them an IOU and flog Charlie for the next 2 seasons.

Well… they will have a VFL side for the next two years.

Regardless of how good or bad we perform in the Draft and Trade Period, Carlton Fans need to embrace themselves for a very difficult & frustrating year coming ahead.

We are most likely going to finish bottom 3 and Voss's contract will end and won't be re-newed. A New Coach will come on in 2027 and our Young Talent will be ready to make an impact.

The Players we have lost this year can not be replaced. We are going to have a Season with no recognized ruckman, a Forward line that will struggle to kick goals and our kicking efficiency will never improve, nor will our Game Style and lack of Run and Transition.

That's not to mention that the rest of our Senior players are injury prone, so sooner or later, they will check out!

I am not being negative but rather realistic.... Go Blues!!!!!!!!!! :fight: :fight:

Geelong's 1st round picks are more like 2nd round picks, most likely will be in the 20's. That won't help Carlton one single Bit.

We need Quality players to match what we are losing, not draft Picks. We are Masters of burning off Picks and picking duds.

We must not accept anything less than a player like Butters or Heeney or Goulden to match the Curnow Trade.

Why don't Geelong just give us 9 3rd round picks?

We should ask Geelong for two picks in the top 10. One for this year and one for next year (which can't be guaranteed, but either WC 2026 first, Richmond 2026 first, North Melbourne 2026 first, Essendon* 2026 first, Melbourne 2026 first or Port Adelaide 2026 first). It's up to Geelong to work out how to get them.

We keep the future first of the other club to match a bid on Cody. We then use the first from this year and our 2026 first for Butters.

TDK compo will match Dean and JSOS compo will match Ison.

Charlie Curnow for Humphrey and Walter would be an exceptional outcome for CFC.
Get it done Austin.

Why not. If we're being unrealistic, let's get them to throw Rowell and Anderson in as well!

Reckon Davies has made a nice start at our Club . Calls it out without being too dramatic . Bit of a cool hand Luke about him .
