Good to have back up ruckman now in place - hoping Reidy puts pressure on Pitto

Fiorini heading to the Scum, apparently.

I’d be wanting to trade, if I’m the Suns. Not sure the Scum care too much, but it would move their Draper pick from 20 back to 27 (for now) if they were to sign him as a free agent.

From AFL.com Inside Trading article

Quote:
Essendon* is likely to part with a future third or fourth-round pick to land Brayden Fiorini so the club's free agency pick for losing Sam Draper is not diluted.

Disappointing that we aren’t in the conversation for these salary dumps.

Not sure you are right it may be that they don’t rate Fiorini

May do it for Florent or Ainsworth but not Fiorini

Just my opinion (well, me and the official ratings), Fiorini plays those two off a break, Frank.

Yet another one recruited out of our backyard while that Toorak flower was in the job.

Bow to your greater knowledge of ratings but given our dearth of competent goal kicking small forwards isn’t Ainsworth what we need as opposed to Fiorini

Aints give up pick #7 for Flanders.
SOS won't be bidding on Dean now.

Kicking efficiency & midfield spread are what we need. The first, if not both, of those will start to come around if we can clear some of the shit out from between the players ears. Extra competition will do wonders.

I’ve got a fairly low opinion of small forwards. Perhaps a bit harsh, but I just think if the forwards aren’t shifting the defence, then they’re being dictated to. At which point we’d be better off playing an outside mid.

Ainsworth would win a foot race against the ones we’ve got though - and a fight. No doubt about that.

:D was never going to happen anyway. SOS is a prize knob, but does he have any history of violating the list managers' code?

Without Jack here now, who knows what that bloke is capable of.
Pretty sure he did that in the 2019 draft with bids on Liam Henry and Tom Green though.

i wonder what the most games in a row pittonet has played? can't be many? i also wonder where he rates among rucks at time on ground when he does play?

feels like he sits out 40-50% of the game catching his breath. someone here would have these numbers?

With five on the bench now two ruckman is a certainty , and what's more it will give "em plenty of time for a rest . Gives him a new lease of life really .
